I was told by Navoy, the tech of Dr. Fugril, came in the room and said that she need one of you to sign consent form, the Dr. Is waiting. My husband was in severe pain, she then stated, either one of you could sign. I said okay I sign on a tablet. Never sign to pay anything. They are dishonest, Medicare should not do business with these dishonest people. The whole staff is corrupted. Do not used "SAGE DENTAL.".

I went to Sage Dental for broken tooth…
I went to Sage Dental for broken tooth thought they could do a crown. Was told the tooth had to be extracted and they recommended a bridge. I said okay to the extraction but wanted to wait on bridge. The extraction they said was 700. and the crown would be 2175. The dentist was working on 2 patients at the same time, running between the 2 cubicles, I felt like I was on an assembly line. it was horrible. When I got home, took pain med and went to bed. The next morning when looking at the paperwork There was a paper that said they had charged the full 2875. to my credit card. I called them and said there was a mistake as I was not going to do the bridge through them. After calling them several more times they said on April 9th they would issue the credit. it has been over 4 months and still no credit. I never got a proposal of treatment or any type of statement of work to be done. If this isn't settled in the near future I will escalate with court. I have filed a grievance with the card company, also with Medi Care. Just was informed yesterday there is a class action out of Palm Beach for these practices. BEWARE!

Shady billing practices
This review is for Sage Dental of West Delray
I went in for a total deep cleaning and for 2 crowns. While the work was satisfactory, though the technicians seemed very rough, the issue came with billing.
They had me sign multiple papers and I told them up front that when I pay for whatever co-pay is needed I do NOT want to receive any additional bills.
I received an additional bill, went to the office and spoke to who I was told was the office manager, he would do absolutely nothing about the bill, no offer to split simply said, that's not going to happen. I advised I have an upcoming appointment for a filling and a crown and I would cancel if they did not assist in some way.
He said nothing, I paid and left saying they just lost a customer. He did not care. There are dentists on every corner here in So FL, no need to frequent one that uses shady tactic to get more money from a patient.
Not sure if all their offices (they are a chain) are similar but be warned about this one.

Dreadful experience at Sage Orange City Florida
Very disappointing experience at Sage Dental Orange City
I am sharing my experience because I left my appointment feeling extremely upset and like my concerns as a patient were not heard.
I waited over a month for a root canal appointment while dealing with severe dental pain from pulpitis and an ill-fitting crown that had been placed by another clinic. Before the procedure started, I explained to both the assistant and Dr. Serrano that I have a history of difficulty getting numb, not only during dental procedures but also during major surgery. I made it very clear that local anesthetics often do not work well for me and that I was already in significant pain.
I was told that numbing medication would be applied before the injections. However, when the procedure began, only a small amount of topical anesthetic was applied to the side of the tooth. No topical anesthetic was applied to my soft palate before the palatal injections, and the injections began immediately without giving the anesthetic time to take effect.
I understand that injections are sometimes necessary during dental procedures, and I am not objecting to receiving them. However, injections into the soft palate are known to be particularly sensitive, and experiencing those injections without adequate topical numbing was extremely painful for me.
During the injections, I repeatedly cried out in pain, recoiled, and was visibly struggling in the chair. Despite this, the procedure continued without stopping to reassess, allow additional numbing time, or discuss other options. After several attempts, I reached the point where I could not continue and got out of the chair because I no longer felt comfortable moving forward.
My concern is not simply that the procedure was uncomfortable. My concern is that I clearly communicated my history of difficulty becoming numb and my fear of uncontrolled pain before treatment began, yet I did not feel that my concerns or my distress during the procedure were adequately addressed.
I had been a longtime patient at Sage Dental Altamonte Springs and had always had positive experiences there, which is why I chose Sage Dental again after moving closer to the Orange City location. Unfortunately, my experience at this office was very different.
I hope Sage Dental takes the time to review what happened and look at how patients with known difficulty becoming numb are treated. I will not be returning to the Orange City location.

The BUY HERE... PAY HERE of dentistry
They systemically present treatment plans, always in the middle of a procedure. They broke a crown off, the THIRD attempt to fit a bridge; in 2 mins, I was presented with a $949 "plan" to replace. I was told it was a quote. I asked for copy to take with me as I had not planned on them pulling my crown off. I was told sure just sign it and they would get me a copy. At the very bottom it clearly stated I was authorizing the charge. I said no, she withdrew and I got an email couple hours later of the consent form with a wavy line on signature line. At best, unprofessional pettiness, possibly forgery. Still have not had it fitted, after BBB complaint and request of refund. Be extremely cautious. This is the scheme, not a rare occurrence. The crew at this office spoke a foreign language the whole time this discussion is going on, when I asked that they speak English so I could know what they were saying, they snickered. This company is the "Used Car, Pay Here" of dentistry. All efforts for refund have been ignored.

Sage Dental is an absolute rip off
Sage Dental is an absolute rip off. I have tried numerous times to go back to them and every single time I have just needed a cleaning. They have tried to sell me deep cleanings antibiotics, etc. that aren’t covered by my insurance. Up to the tune of five to 600 $ a visit. They are rude as well. I will never go back to Sage Dental or recommend them. Find a better dentist that will work with you. My teeth are perfectly healthy. Never had a cavity never hurt, but I still need all these expensive treatments absolutely insane.
