The hot water turns to cold before the tub is filled

1st HAD TO CRAWL OUT DUE TO THE DRAIN NOT WORKING. I AM 73 YEARS OLD AND ONLY WEIGHT 92 POUNDS. 2nd THE SEAT IS AS COLD AS ICE. THE BACK IS 91°. THIS THING MUST BE A SECOND OR AN OLD MODEL. WHAT HAPPENED TO NEXT DAY SERVICE? I DON'T WANT SOMETHING I CAN'T USE. WHY DOES THE HEATER PART TAKE A WEEK? A MR GOODMAN IS COMING TODAY TO FIX THE SEAT. IT JUST ISN'T RIGHT THAT SOMETHING THAT COST THIS MUCH IS FALLING APART AND IT IS STILL NEW.

We were so excited to get our safestep tub, but quickly found out that our hot water heater was not big enough to fill the tub. No one told us that we needed a bigger water heater. Then, less than a month later, found out that the water line had been leaking and flooded the bathroom floor under the tub. Safestep took a couple of weeks before they got anyone out to fix the leak, and the floor was totally ruined by that time. Three months later, they still haven't fixed the floor or even checked back with us for an update. We asked to return the tub and get our money back but they refused. We still expect them to make this right, one way or another.

I love my tub! I use it often. I especially liked the exercise and use video. as a single below the knee amputee it would be helpful to see a like person demonstrate the tub and exercises based on using only one leg. Perhaps two or three different persons, an amputee, a senior citizen, and perhaps another person with the handicap could be used. I did have one thing that was broken and that was the heated seat. I called and somebody was out to fix it at no cost to me within a week. Generally my only real complaint is that the tub is expensive, even with the warranty. Keep up the good work on your project.

Overall, we are very happy with Safe Step. The salesman explained all the features of the tub and assisted with financing. Because we had purchased it for my 94-year-old mom who has mobility problems, installation was arranged to occur in under 3 weeks. The installation was finished in one day, and the tub was a perfect fit for our space. We did have an issue with the jet control lever that resulted in a leak about a month after installation. Luckily, it was addressed in a timely fashion. All of the people involved in fixing the problem were courteous, methodical, and professional.

Very hard to get prompt return calls. Wrong tub was delivered, door was wrong, fixtures wrong side. Proper paperwork was not obtained prior to installation. When washer was put back water was not turned back on locking washer and drain hose was not replaced causing damage to floor, basement ceiling and Christmas village display. Several problems between what we were told and the tub actually needed and did.

The tub itself has been super; being able to get minor work scheduled, not so good; therefore, we haven't been able to use the tub in 2 wks because of the mildew problem here in FL. We would purchase the tub again & hopefully, the installers would be more timely.

The installation was extremely professional. The installation took one day. They were neat with the installion. When they finished it was beautiful. They explained how to use the jets, how to fill the tub everything. It only took about 3 minutes to drain. It's so easy to get in and out of the tub. I'm very satisfied. Mary
