I paid for Runway’s unlimited plan thinking I could create freely. After just three weeks, I was banned without warning. At first, they accused me of using a script — which I don’t even know what that is. When I questioned it, they changed the reason and said I let someone else use my account, just because I generated a lot of videos. I explained that I had to regenerate the same video multiple times because Runway kept giving poor results. I even told them to check my folder — same project, repeated attempts. But instead of listening, they just said I violated the terms and locked me out of all my generated videos. Luckily, I saved some. But in the Runway Discord forum, I found two other users with the same issue — one got banned after only 15 days, and another lost all their work because they hadn’t backed it up. What’s the point of “unlimited” if you get banned for actually using it? Now I’m using another app — no unlimited plan, but I get better results, faster, and cheaper, without the fear of being banned for creating. Runway’s unlimited plan is misleading. Look elsewhere.

It's a fraudulent company. They say it's "Unlimited for one year". So, I paid $1,000 to create unlimited AI Video. And guess what happened within two months? I tried to log in but Runway's site says "This account has been suspended. If you wish to contest this, please email (their email address) from the email you attempted to log into.". So I ask them what is going on? But no reply. Then I realized. They are scam. I was fool. I hope you all see this review before you pay them.

There was an issue with the account credit, so I submitted an inquiry. However, I received no response—only the display was quietly corrected. I also reported other issues, such as thumbnails not displaying properly, but again, no reply at all. The official website states that all plans include support for billing and account-related matters, but in reality, no such support was provided. Additionally, the chatbot that used to be on the homepage has been removed, making it impossible to contact support quickly. This company handles customer support in a very negligent manner.

I paid $144 for a 1-year Standard Plan on May 12, 2025 and have not received access or confirmation. Support hasn’t responded either. I’m requesting urgent help or a refund.

Starts off well then the deliberately generate videos with errors to get you to purchase more credits.

Sucks up your credits and gives you crap results.

Poor quality videos. Produce junk videos that suck the petty credits you paid for dry quickly. Avoid at all cost.

Absolutely terrible now MOST of the time.... At first it operates okay, but that is only to reel you in. Then they start getting greedy, and by that I mean blatantly generating animations that do not reflect VERY simple instructions. Example: if I ask it to generate an animation with a character "standing still and not talking.... blinking only," it will generate that person talking, moving, and even shouting. If this happened once in a while, or even every 5–6 requests, that would be a different story. But once you have paid lots of money in, they start milking you by generating 10 wrong animations in a row and draining your credits so that you'll have to buy more. They also do not refund credits even when you "report" that the animation did not match the description... Never hear back from support about the countless times I have reported these animations. USE SOMETHING ELSE.
