Problems with my sneaker - gave me plantar fasciitis
In mid-July, I bought new sneakers from the website, an Asics Kayano 25. I've been a runner since 2000 and have been using Asics for almost 8 years now, updating the model every 12 months or so. I know how the brand fits my feet and am very aware of any discomfort in my body. I've never had an injury or overtraining problem. However, right after I bought and used I could feel this heel pain on my right foot that (as I read) was a plantar fasciitis problem. I've complained to the customer service, they suggested I was overtraining and didn't really accept to take the product back and analyze. I'm sure this plantar fasciitis is related to the new sneaker because when I cycle (with bike shoes) I don't feel anything but every time I run, feels terrible right after. Now I'm not running anymore, have to spend money on treating the problem and will need to spend more money to buy a new running shoe? It doesn't add up.
