Easy to install and works great!

First i thought the door was wireless, The description on the sight gave the impression the door was wireles. The app is real confusing and some of the options made no sence. The first day i set it up just fine usind a time to open and close. I left it in the house for a few days to insure it will work. After I installed the door it worked for one day and after that it would stop or open and close randomly. I programmed it again wile it was mounted and it didn't work. I drought it back inside and tried doing the dusk till dawn function with a 5 minute delay opening and a 15 minute delay closing. When I turned on the light the door opened without delay and it closed without a delay when I turned off the light. Okay so neither of the functions in the app worked. I went to the website to see about returning the door. I then find out it can't be returned because I opened the box and installed it. Nothing but stress with this door so disappointing after.when I ordered it the reviews were so good. I assume they remove the bad reviews. I guess no one will see this anyways.

Edit 1/4/23 I contacted customer service and they were very responsive in trouble shooting my door. We discovered the issue with programming can be with the phone, screen protector ect. I was using a Pixel 5, so I switched to a Samsung S10 and the programming went fine. The light sensor issue may stem from issues of my birds not wanting to go to bed so early in the December early night. The agent told me when you manually push the button the sensor does become reactive to artificial light for 20min. There's a lot of artificial light around my place in the winter. I set the door to open/close at a specific time to bypass all these issues. I'll try the light sensor again in the spring and see if it works flawlessly. If so I'll update it to 5 stars. *****Old Reviews and Issues***** It worked well in the summer fall but it's been a total flop this winter. Door won't open in the morning, closes too early in the evening. Changed the batteries. Installed the app and tried to program it with a timer. That has failed as well. Frustrating something that worked so well is a flop now.

The door works very well so far and looks great! I feel the instructions could be improved by explaining how to fit it to wire mesh as well, not just to a panel. I installed the door to lead out of the coop into a run by building a frame and cutting out the wire.

Great company for concern of your product, any replacement parts need they see if they can help you figure it out, as I thought we were going to have to buy a whole new chicken door and once they spoke with us about it, we just had to order the control box. Great speed on delivery as well. Just a Great Company to deal with !!!!

We have had this coop door in operation for two months. Even in sub-zero weather works just fine. it has brought peace of mind and less things to do.

I am very impressed with product. The packaging and instructions were well thought out, programming the door is easy and very clever and so far the door works very well. Having an automatic door has really made my life easier!
