What a completely useless site. I tried to use it to procure both a psychiatric provider as well as a psychotheraphy provider. The psychiatric one, I had one appointment, but that first appointment is essentially an intake. So, nothing of value to me was accomplished. Then there was no follow-up or future appointment set ever. I was just completely left hanging. I was never able to get a psychotherapy appointment. I got on call asking me if I was going to join a session that was apparently already 20 minutes in. An appointment I never made and was completely unaware of. Then they tried to charge me for it. After a sternly worded phone call they did agree with me and refunded the money.

The first therapist I tried to book with cancelled. The 2nd therapist I booked with was a “no show” with no communication. I won’t be using Rula again. Very frustrating!

The therapist I was booked with, Sneha C---, came across as unprofessional during my appointment. Throughout the session, I felt that my concerns were disregarded and that I was not being heard or taken seriously. Her tone and demeanor left me feeling uncomfortable, and it was very different from the professional, empathetic care I have experienced with my previous therapist. On a positive note, Rula's customer service has generally been responsive and helpful whenever I've needed assistance. I hope Rula continues to monitor the quality of care provided by the therapists on its platform so that patients receive the compassionate and professional support they deserve.

Rula charged my card $225 for an inpatient appointment we never scheduled or received. We only booked a video call, which the doctor declined because my daughter needs in-person care. No services were rendered, yet they took my money anyway. Furthermore, Rula is weaponizing HIPAA regulations as an excuse to refuse to remove my credit card and personal information from my account. I demand an immediate refund of the $225 and the purging of my billing details.

tried to book services for psych - after being talked to by therapist within a month 1st - reconfirm copies of insuarnce cards 2nd - told only have medicare not supplemental 3rd proof of supplemental (anthem) sent but cant talk to insurance team to confitrm 4. scheducled appt & was cancelled because medicare doesnt cover in-person service when appt was zoom - not in person 5. Provider accepts anthem which I have but told insurance doesnt cover 6. Finally told Rula does not have a contract with Medicare for billing psych services and they cant bill anthem direct even though provider accepts anthem Many phone calls with those who dont know what they are doing - find someone else for help

Don't waste your time Rula's big marketing and advertising push is that it is very easy to get signed up. It isn't. I reccommend contacting your insurance and going through them, because as much of a nightmare that is, Rula isn't any easier. I chose a therapist, did there whole intake process, set appt. Therapist canceled. No option to rebook, deleted from past appointments and care providers. Now I need to go through the whole process again. What a waste of time. Just contact your insurance. It cuts out thai needless middleman Rula.

I had an ok therapist. But she suggested I switch to someone with a specialty. I tried to book 5 therapists thru the Rula help number at one point and they all cancelled last minute saying they weren’t taking new patients. Then I tried once more and had 1 appointment with a therapist. Then the next week she last minute rescheduled an appointment then last minute cancelled the rescheduled appointment no apology. Rula said I could choose a new therapist but I give up.

Absolutely horrific and honestly traumatic. My psychiatrist told me that I should “choose to be happy” and quit my job (I enjoy my job and am on a successful career path) to help my anxiety and depression, and “choose to focus” to help my ADHD. She told me that alcohol leads women to getting assaulted (false + victim blaming). Also told me that pelvic exams aren’t necessary if you aren’t sexually active (extremely false). Wouldn’t re-prescribe me my medication that I’d been on for years and had success with. I genuinely believe that if an unwell patient came to Rula, it could be the straw that breaks the camels back.
