My experience with Sneha Carr was a very unprofessional therapeutic relationship. I did not find her approach to be collaborative, compassionate, or supportive. Instead, I often felt judged and that the focus was more on how she was perceived than on helping me process the concerns and challenges I was bringing forward. When I shared serious and personal issues happening in my life, I sometimes felt as though my concerns were minimized or dismissed rather than met with empathy and thoughtful guidance. At times, her reactions, including laughing off certain concerns, left me feeling unheard and invalidated. Based on my experience, I do not feel that her approach aligned with the qualities described in her profile. She has been the least professional therapist I have worked with.

i signed up with Rula and due to my high deductible I ended up owing $700 after just a couple of sessions. I cancelled my future appointments and called to see if there was a payment plan available and was told that my only option was Care Credit card with a 34% monthly interest rate! Care credits stated that if the provider offered a promotion there may be a waiver of interest for a period of time, but of course Rula doesn't offer us anything. I have never had an experience like this with a medical provider, I have always been able to make a payment plan. I'm shocked by the complete lack of respect for their clients, I don't recommend it unless you have already paid your deductible or have a lot of cash to spend on therapy. Terrible experience

Deeply untrustworthy - claimed to be covered by my insurance via Zocdoc, booked an appointment then sent me an insurance rejection and cost schedule. Had to sign up for their platform to cancel. Not totally sure if its a bad technical flow or shady practices on their side but I recommend staying away.

Mental Warfare: Let's level set that I'm the one who signed up for the therapist here. I signed up for my first therapist, should be an interview right? Wrong according to Rula, they automatically added 5 months of therapy on the calendar every week. Thank God my executive function was working I had to line by line cancel every single meeting. Oh it doesn't end there. So I approve my account go through all the steps with the website and now I am getting insane texts "Final reminder you have 48 hours to complete registration to prevent cancellation" you absolute nobs I have clicked your notices 5,000 times approved everything I can and I am reinstating I need a therapist from dealing with your company.

Do not use this therapy service. I have logged a complaint and no one has called me back. Their model is to spend 2-3 sessions doing an assessment and then drag your therapy sessions on and on to match the assessment. I met with two different therapists that were unqualified, completely unqualified. Do they vet or record sessions of their therapists - clearly not. I even wrote a letter to the CEO...does he even exist? It's just a method for charging more money. Go to a therapist in private practice.

I had a terrible experience with Rula due to provider Erika Duarte, LCSW. I was abruptly terminated from services and abandoned by her with no referrals on the anniversary of the day my cousin died by suicide. She did this after I confided in her about my cousins death. After this experience, I tried meeting with 2 other therapists but was unable to develop rapport due to the new developed fear of sudden termination and inconsistent services. I haven’t been back to therapy since and don’t know if I could ever go back as the idea of opening up to a therapist and being abandoned is traumatizing. I’ve reported this poor clinical behavior to Rula and the BBS but have received no support. I would be very cautious of working with Rula, especially with this particular therapist.

Avoid RULA at all costs. It has been a terrible experience. I booked an appointment, and it was canceled without any explanation. I gave them another chance, but the same thing happened again four appointments in a row were canceled for no reason. They wasted over two weeks of my time, and I never received the care I was trying to schedule. Extremely frustrating and completely unreliable. I would not recommend this platform.

I cannot recommend Rula based on my experience. From the very beginning, my care has been plagued by scheduling failures and a complete lack of continuity. My first psychiatrist had a confirmed appointment with me. I received confirmation, but the provider never showed up. When I called the office, I was told there was no appointment in their system, despite the confirmation I had received. After that experience, I selected a different psychiatrist. I met with her twice and believed things were finally on track. Today was supposed to be my third appointment. I received an appointment reminder, completed the required paperwork beforehand, and logged in on time. She never showed up. When I contacted Rula, I was told she was no longer with the company. Yet their system still sent me appointment reminders and pre-appointment paperwork, allowing me to sit and wait for an appointment that was never going to happen. What disappointed me most was Rula's response. There was no meaningful apology, no empathy for the disruption to my care, and no sense of urgency about ensuring continuity of treatment. As a patient who relies on medication management, being left without a provider is not a minor inconvenience. I understand that providers leave organizations. What I do not understand is failing to notify patients, allowing appointments to remain on the schedule, and then offering such an indifferent response when patients are understandably upset. After two no-show experiences with two different psychiatrists through Rula, I have lost confidence in their ability to provide reliable psychiatric care. As a result, I have given up on Psychiatry, as a whole, and will get my prescriptions filled through my GP. Rula is a joke. I 1000% stand by my review of Rula. A few people have reached out to apologize, but it's much too late for that. They will NOT change my narrative or my experience and have ZERO faith or trust in this company. Please STOP contacting me, period. I have already moved on, and my prescriptions were renewed by my GP yesterday, and she will be handling my medication management from here on out.
