Was charged a no show fee of $99. I did show up, but was too ill with a cold and was coughing to continue. I was with my therapist for about 10 minutes and just had to stop. That’s not not showing up. I contacted billing but they have not responded. My therapist said there was nothing she could do. There are way too many good therapists out there to continue care with Rula. I don’t feel I can trust them, and therefore will not continue therapy services through them. Update: Rula did refund the $99. I am still not impressed with the way this company conducts business. Happily, I found another therapist locally.

Links to join sessions are difficult to find… cancellation policy is so unreasonable that I am extremely mentally ill but about to stop therapy because I can’t afford $100 even when I tell my therapist I have to reschedule. I am sick and you make it worse.

The worst. I hate Rula and I will tell everyone never to use it.

Final Update ***Update as of 5/17/24 - Received feedback from Rula customer support and message from my psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and it turned out the NP did not document the session notes per the conversation and agreed upon treatment. This whole process was mentally exhausting and the unsympathetic messages from patient support was not helpful, being that this is a mental health platform. I am definitely afraid of seeing another NP and having a similar issue. I advised Rula that I will not be seeing this practitioner in the future. Not being able to reach my provider through a direct message/email is not ideal for us who may need assistance in a timely manner. I hope Rula and fix this soon. I would like to use this platform in the future since this is the platform used by my insurance but I don’t know how they can assure there will not be a similar experience. 2nd Review ****As of Today 5/16/24 there is no resolution to my prescriptions being sent to my pharmacy as told by my Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at my initial appointment on 5/7/24 (more that 1 week ago). I don’t understand what is going on, I keep being told that she hasn’t responded to the messages sent and that they will escalate it to the lead NP (that was yesterday 5/15 and still nothing today). I requested information on how to file a complaint and they didn’t provide me with information to file a proper complaint. I really don’t know what to do at this point but let people know that this online platform does not put their patient care as a priority. I really do like the NP and hope this is just an isolated incident and that everything moving forward will have better clarity with my new provider**** Very poor patient support service. There is no way to contact my provider directly and the emails and calls to patient support are a complete waste of time. My provider was very nice and thorough. I am new to online psychiatry (I’ve always seen my providers in person) and I am already having difficulty and miscommunication about my medication. Initial visit was 5/7/24. ***Update 5/14 Responded to Rula’s request to provide additional information to recognize my review as genuine. Had to cancel an appointment because my mom got into a car accident. Was charged $100 fee. Called to dispute. They said they'd reverse the charge. It's been over a month and it's still hasn't been reversed.
