The sign in continues to be a problem with no signs of why this is so awful or that it'll be fixed. I have no understanding why anyone would design a website that would requests your email to sign in without a password sign in. I was wrongly charged a late fee without authorization, this service has too many problems to list here.

You stopped accepting my insurance without informing. I only found out because my insurance company sent me a letter stating that they aren't covering over $600 worth of my therapy. When I contacted you I was informed that there must be a mistake. Rula absolutely accepts my insurance. I was told that I would receive an email from the billing department in 1 business day so that I could discuss receiving proof of insurance acceptance. 3 business days later I did not receive any correspondence. I contacted you again and was now I formed that you stopped accepting my insurance and didn't inform me. I'm currently waiting to hear from billing yet again. How can you drop people's insurance without giving a warning? You're dealing with a vulnerable population. How can you put our mental health in jeopardy like this? To not give warning beforehand and not inform clients afterwards is at best unprofessional and at worst predatory. I will NEVER recommend Rula to anyone. In fact, I will highly recommend against Rula.

I had a terrible experience with Rula. I was told that they were in-network with my insurance. After 4 visits, I discovered that they weren't and I now owe hundreds of dollars. I would never have scheduled with them had I known that they were not in network. (Their website specifically says they take Blue Shield of CA by the way.) On top of that, the quality of therapy I received was subpar. The provider was 5 minutes late to every session. The second week she canceled with only a few hours notice. Two weeks later she rescheduled to a later time. The last session I had, her network quality was so poor I could barely understand her the bulk of the session. Then, just over 24 hours before my next session with her, I received an email from Rula canceling all future sessions because my provider indicated a need for a better fit. Turns out her schedule changed and she hadn't had time to personally reach out to the clients whose sessions were being canceled. It's unprofessional and unethical. And now I'm stuck paying over $400 for mediocre therapy sessions! Avoid Rula at all costs. *Edit: This week, 6 weeks after my first session, I received the email that I should have gotten before the first session, acknowledging that Rula is not in-network with my health insurance. I got a separate email reiterating that and acknowledging that it was their screw up so thankfully, I don't have to pay anything more. While I am appreciative, it should never have happened to begin with. If you're going to try Rula, get something in writing saying that they're in-network with your insurance!

Let me preface this by saying my THERAPIST is amazing! If I could give "customer service" 0 stars, I would. They are rude, volatile, and borderline aggressive. I will be giving up a great therapist because I refuse to tolerate this type of service or behavior from anyone.

Beware of auto-payments or auto-charges, hidden, and hard to cancel your account or take off your credit card from its system

Full disclosure: this is not a complaint about my provider. This has everything to do with rula itself. I cancelled family events that I had planned to attend my first session only to be told by customer service my appointment was cancelled with ZERO notification. This is not the first issue I've had with rula, formerly known as path. I was also not charged for 8 (!) straight appointments even though the money was there AND I had previously updated my card information THREE SEPARATE TIMES. Upon confirming my information once again, they processed all 8 payments at once leaving me without rent money. I immediately ended my relationship with them over this. And now having my appointment cancelled again, I have decided to leave this review. I need the help but I don't need this headache that comes with dealing with rula.

I am just beginning my therapy journey with Rula. My therapist did not show up on Zoom and I am being charged. I have called and emailed their customer support team. They are very slow to address concerns.

If I could give zero stars I would but I need to put one to make a review. I know that not all therapists are like this one but having to watch my sister who is struggling be gaslit into being told she is the problem and basically her anxiety isn’t there is heart breaking. My sister has been struggling with severe depression and thoughts of ending her own life so it was jaw dropping that when she told this therapist how she was holding a bottle of melatonin and thought about taking the whole bottle to not wake up and the therapist started to giggle saying it wouldn’t of worked and you can take all the melatonin in the world and you wouldn’t die and then proceeds to mention a drug that would work to my sister who has had SUICIDAL THOUGHTS my jaw completely hit the floor. The best part is that she completely dismissed her having suicidal thoughts because she wasn’t going to use a drug that wouldn’t have worked even tho my sister thought it would have. The rest of the time being gaslit that she is the issue and she should basically forgive and forget and move on and not listen to anything my sister said even tho she corrected her. Watching her get shut down for trying to get help is devastating and this is why it’s hard for people who are mentally unwell to get help.
