Too many Rula emails. Very happy with therapist.

Getting a therapist is not the easiest thing in the world to do as far as finding a match. I know that inherently that is true with every process of finding one, but on Rula it is a bit of trial and error. It took me 3 tries. The first one was selected by the operator and it was a huge miss for me. The second I found on my own, but the therapist didn't even show for the session. The third accepted my appointment, then the Rula system cancelled it with no reasoning and I had to contact the therapist directly and plead my case to see them. I'm not sure if it was both the therapist and Rula deciding I wasn't a fit before I met, but I am very happy so far with this therapist! Also, having to put my email in to get a link to get back in to the website is annoying. it would be easier to get an authentication code or something. It makes it not very easy. Also booking follow up appointments with the system is hard because you don't have the dates listed in a calendar, but in a row. It's kinda confusing and could be clearer if it was set up like a calendar month.

Truly it takes so much off my shoulders to talk to someone when I feel like there’s nowhere else to turn. I really enjoy speaking with my therapist and working through things I didn’t realize I was still holding onto. I’m not pushed further than I can handle but I am out of my comfort zone because that is where growth and progress are found. Specifically regarding Rula, I wish logging in didn’t involve the back and forth from site to email to site, or site to email to site to zoom for my session. I would like to see the log in process more streamlined so I am more inclined to explore more. Selfishly I’d also like to see it in an app form for more easier access.

My experience was fantastic. I'm learning a lot about how to control my anxiety towards different things and how I can handle the situations that cause my anxiety to go up better. That I'm really appreciative of.

Easy to use or understand. Simple communication features. I would like an app, or a quicker way the login. I think there should be more time to get into the zoom call or else it cancels the entire session. I need more than 20min. I would like more transparency in cost.

There are great things about Rula and not so great things. It is easy to find a good Therapist, easy to schedule, and the customer service people are very nice. That being said, if you have a problem, it's frustrating at best. My account was duplicated and they didn't have the ability to delete one and move forward. I went through weeks of aggravation and hours on the phone, and the fix was to create a new email account that I use just for Rula because their software doesn't have the capability of fixing something as simple as a duplicate account. Additionally, weeks and hours and email after email to get set up on the website where you can contact your provider and see your payment receipts. It never got fixed. The customer service rep and I decided to give up on it because they couldn't fix it, and I have to rely on calling them any time I have a problem. So the human aspect is great, the technical aspect with both websites leaves much to be desired. The line is "I don't have the right tool for that." Rula, your customer service reps and clients deserve the right tools. My high rating is because my theraist and appointments work seamlessly. As long as I don't have an issue, it's great.
