From a sitter perspective: I would not recommend this to anyone trying to make additional money. You have to pay a $50 fee and theres no guarantee anyone will even see your profile, let alone get you bookings. Their suggestion is to promote yourself on social media - you do NOT need a platform like Rover to do this that takes a cut from your earnings. They also suggest lowering your prices (to below minimum wage basically) for yo to get bookings. This is such a complete waste of money and time I would really recommend not using it unless you already have a client base you can direct to the app (which does seem pointless as you'd likely earn more money not using the app and them paying you directly).
