Sara was wonderful! We were new to the area and had lost our dog sitter. Rover & Sara made our trip out of the country very comfortable. We have confidence in her ability to handle any situation that may arise. We are very happy we found Sara and Rover!

The website presents some obstacles when trying to adjust the initial booking. It was not clear how to add a "meet and greet" visit so I eventually just added another pet care visit. Otherwise it is okay.

The app is very easy to use. It is comforting to know that they run background checks and that there are people behind the sitters. I have had great luck with Rover.

We were away for 2 weeks. On the 11th day, the pet sitter didn’t close the door properly and our cat got out of the house. Fortunately, before it got dark , some neighbors saw the cat wandering around and rescued her and closed our door. We know it was just a mistake, but we could have lost our pet and our home was open to anyone for a few hours that day. We are still worried about leaving our cat at the care of a pet sitter again. We don’t know if we will ever use Rover again.
