This app charges you 12€ when you want to become a pet sitter on their website. It's a pure scam. They claim it's a background check fee but I registered on other websites and they don't do that. They just want to take money from people and they also take huge commission form pet sitting so you basically earn peanuts..Really not worth it.

Rover connected me with some great sitters near me. The website is not very good for communicating. I did receive help from Rover when I was having difficulty returning messages to my sitter. Overall, a great experience.

I dropped off my chihuahua Charlie on Thanksgiving . When I picked him up the next day he had a severe limp. It had not cleared up by Monday, so I took him to the vet . They referred me to an animal surgery clinic . I was told that he had a torn ACL and surgery would be required. I emailed all of the notes and the receipts from the initial two visits to Rover. It has been 7 days since I last heard from them. I've had to initiate a go fund me to pay for his surgery.
