I’ve been using Rover for several years now, especially when we travel and we need someone to look after our dog. Rover makes it easy for me to find reliable dog sitters and they’re usually affordable too.

Don't get me wrong. The Rover sitters are great! I have booked 8 stays for Bruce, and each has been wonderful. But I am furious with Rover.com corporation. They charged me twice for 1 stay ($675 x 2), and when I call them on it, they hide behind a bogus policy that states "Rover does not offer refunds for a stay 48hrs. after the stay is completed." Ironically, Rover waited more than 48hrs. after the stay was completed, before they double-charged me. Even though there was only "1" stay, they maintain their policy won't allow a refund after 48hrs for the double-charge. Rover.com cannot get it through their pea-sized brains that there was no 2nd stay upon which to base the 2nd charge. Yet, they are perfectly content to keep my money. That is THEFT!
