Requires £24 payment to "check" my profile before I can see if the app is actually going to produce any sitting opportunities. Not many reviews and mostly US, so will need to see it really works in UK before parting with a penny. Shooting themselves in the foot with the charge because they make money for each hour someone earns through the app, and I won't be using it with the barrier.

Knowing the sitters have been background checked and are required to send pictures at any point really gives me peace of mind. I also really like that there is a meet and greet feature to make sure the sitter is a good fit.

I managed to find a good sitter but it took some doing. You can’t save profiles for future reference. Some of the sitters put untrue information on their profiles like experience administration of insulin injections in dogs - something that can be life or death for a dog. It is nice to see schedules and to communicate and pay through the app. The sitter could send updates and photos to me. There needs to be more transparency about processing fees that increase the cost of posted sitter fees. But I could add a review and tip. I will use the app again in the future.

The photos from each visit are appreciated. The pet sitters have been great and took good care of our cats.
