Sitter cancelled on us in the last minute, and Rover did not give us the ability to review the sitter. Therefore, unreliable sitters do not get accurate reviews. (We were very lucky to find another (wonderful) sitter on a short notice through Rover; otherwise our trip would have been derailed).

Be very careful with the service I would ask around because if you're in a bad area you'll probably have a very bad experience, had a gentleman name Jose not tell me the power was out in my apartment no power means no AC additionally it means no security system Not only this but sometimes people will be sensitive snowflakes or just be incredibly unfriendly or two-faced Another example is sometimes sitters will ask you to leave a review and then immediately try to get your account suspended or deactivated by any means necessary So you can't take off the review I've been with Rover but it feels like it's slowly going downhill
