It was nice to find a per sitter and interview them before trusting them with your babies. I like that pet insurance is included with the reservation. What i do not like is that the sitters are allowed to cancel up to 3 days before the stay

I have met some wonderful dogs and wonderful owners through rover.com, and for that I am very appreciative. However, I am not appreciative of rover.com's dismal website. It is beyond user unfriendly it is simply wrong and technologically defective. It's very frustrating because when you call rover.com for support they just offer platitudes and tell you that they have these known issues with calendar availability and other issues and they're working on them however that's been five weeks now and nothing has changed. Very very disappointing platform.

We have never used Rover before because we lived in the same community and neighborhood for 25+ years. We just moved and don’t know anyone yet. We needed a dog sitter… FAST! Rover did it. I liked that I couldn’t finish picking a potential sitter until I gave ALL of the information necessary about our four dogs. At first, I thought much of it was unnecessary, but then when the sitter arrived, I realized that she had all the information she needed!

I was in a pinch not finding an opening at my regular boarding kennel and then my daughter-in-law told me of Rover.com! I was almost instantly contacted by someone offering services. Ashley X. was terrific with my pups! I felt such comfort knowing they were cared for in their familiar surroundings all week. I couldn't be more pleased at the outcome.

I finally found a person who would house sit and who is trustworthy and reliable for my two senior dogs. She was a delight! I talked to three other candidates with Rover and they all had personal issues they were dealing with such as they also functioned as a caregiver for a relative or it was too far because they had moved, etc. Just as I was getting frustrated, I found a person! My dogs even looked for her once she was gone. She sent pictures daily and sent texts to let me know one of my husband's clients dropped something off. She even arrived 10 minutes early on the day we left. So don't give up, keep on trying to find the right person!
