Easy to book and great experience

Was in need of a dog sitter for a 5-day trip over Easter. Everyone I asked was busy and with Rover I found a terrific dog and house sitter who worked out so well. I never worried one time. N

I’ve been using Rover for two+ years. The platform makes it easy to vet potential pet sitters, hire them, communicate, pay, rate and tip. To date, we’ve had nothing but positive experiences with their service and those that we’ve hired to take care of our pet.

We had a horrible experience on rover. Our dogs were crated for more than 12 hours. Our sitter lied to us about what time she fed the dogs, when they were taken out, and when she was at our house. Plus she brought a strange guy into our house who had a full duffel bag that clearly indicated he was going to stay over after we said no other people were allowed to stay. I have documented screenshots I had to find another sitter myself since no one was available last minute. They gave me less than half my money back and she was only here maybe 6 hrs. She didn’t even come back to the apartment til 2am after being out all day. No communication and poor resolution. I would literally go anywhere else than here.

Easy to schedule a sitter, great pictures, and information

I've used Rover several times, and they really excel at making sure you're connected with a great pet sitter or walker. I hired a several great sitters, and a few that weren't so great, but Rover made it easy to see what other pet owners thought of sitters and also avoid rehiring sitters who weren't a good match. If you have a pet, Rover can be a lifesaver.

So easy to find a dog sitter and I always feel safe leaving my dog with them.
