When I first read Corrine's reviews I had a good feeling about her and especially when we met. I was very nervous about leaving my dogs with someoneI didn't know but she made us feel very comfortable about leaving them with her. Leo and chloe were very happy playing with other dogs.It was nice to see that she kept them busy and took very good care of them. I especially enjoyed her sending pictures every day.Letting me see how happy they were. My first experience is a 5 star. Will definitely use her again.

Clients aren't giving all the money to the sitter
I used to be a have a profile as a sitter on the app but, rover robs us who are trying to work. I had to pay a good chunk of change just to make a profile and then they take 20% of my final amount that I make. I don't know what give them the right to do this because they aren't doing the work. It also forced me to increase my prices so I could get paid what I wanted which isn't fair to the clients. I highly recommend finding a sitter another way. You're paying rover for someone to sit for you and waisting your money. I will never use this app again.

I am submitting a formal complaint…
I am submitting a formal complaint regarding a recent booking with a Rover sitter and requesting a full refund due to negligence, failure to provide agreed-upon care, lack of communication, and resulting property damage and distress to my pets.
I previously had concerns with this same sitter during an earlier booking and contacted Rover customer service at that time. I was told the only option available was to leave a review. I spoke directly with the sitter afterward, and she assured me communication and care would improve. Unfortunately, this booking was significantly worse.
Throughout the stay, I repeatedly attempted to contact the sitter for updates and often received no response. She claimed she was having issues with the Rover app and began texting me from her personal number instead, but communication still remained poor and inconsistent despite prior conversations specifically addressing this concern.
On Saturday evening, the sitter stated she could not complete the scheduled evening check-in. She then stated she would come Sunday morning, but she never arrived. I attempted to contact her multiple times with no response. The last confirmed time she left my home, according to my Ring camera footage, was Saturday 5/9 at approximately 5:00 PM. She never returned afterward. She later claimed she came Sunday morning, but there is no Ring footage of her arrival, and neighbors did not observe her vehicle at the property.
Because she failed to show up or communicate, I contacted Rover’s emergency line on 5/10 at approximately 2:00 PM to report the issue and request cancellation/refund assistance. Rover should be able to confirm this through call records. At that point, I asked that she no longer return to the property, and I had to rely on neighbors to care for my dogs for the remainder of the booking due to concerns for their safety and wellbeing.
When I returned home, the condition of the house was unacceptable. There was urine and feces throughout the home, including soaked dog crates, indicating the dogs had not been let outside appropriately for an extended period of time. There was damage to rugs, carpeting, and bedding, and I will now incur additional cleaning expenses.
More importantly, one of my dogs, Waffles, requires medication. Because the dogs were apparently left unattended without appropriate care or monitoring, this situation could have resulted in a serious medical emergency. Since returning home, my other dog, Chichi, has also developed diarrhea likely related to stress from this experience.
I am requesting:
* A full refund for the booking
* Reimbursement consideration for cleaning/property damage expenses
* Formal review of this sitter’s conduct and reliability
* Confirmation that this complaint is being escalated appropriately rather than answered with generic automated responses
I entrusted Rover and this sitter with the care and safety of my animals and home, and this experience has been extremely upsetting and unacceptable. I have followed up multiple times and still have not received any communication, just generic emails that my case is “under review and someone will reach out within 72 hours “. I am leaving this review on 5/21 with still no resolution.

Mu first time
At first I was apprehensive, the first sitter I met kept calling my dog rude and complained about my other dog. This being my very first time, my introduction to Rover. I was about to say forget it. But the second sitter...my dogs went right to her and were completely comfortable. So happy that it worked out
