Katie and her family took very good care of my puppy, Trixie. She was worn out but that was good as she is very energetic. Being able to communicate via Rover was ok but I would have liked being able to contact our sitter using her number. I recently booked Trixie with a different sitter for a future date and my text didn't get sent. Thats annoying!

I just wanted to offer our experience as a WARNING for those who use (or may use) Rover.com. We hired someone via Rover to stay in our home & watch our dog for 5 days. This person TOOK OUR KEY when they left - and has not replied to any attempts to coordinate it's return. The company itself has also tried to contact the sitter to get our key back. No traction there either. Rover's policy is that they are not liable for anything other than a pet's medical bills. So - If a sitter you hire from Rover breaks something in your home, steals something from you, walks of with your keys - causing you great expense to change all of the locks in your home, etc - YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK. Personally, I think this is abysmal customer service - and I wanted to warn other people so they could make informed choices about whether or not to use this service.

This website does not publish negative reviews, everyone has a 5* rating so it’s impossible to tell good from bad. They are very much profit over pet health despite what they say.

This is the 2nd time that I have use Rover.com to find a dog sitter while I was traveling for my 13 year old yellow Labrador Scout. I am pleased that they check out the sitter’s that are on their website. Both times the sitters sent me updates and pictures of my dog while in their care. I would definitely recommend River.com

Our sitter was very well organized and treated our dog as if she were her own. She kept in contact with, sending photos to show us how she was doing.

My Rover pet sitter was fantastic! The Rover website was very disappointing! I ended up having to call customer service and have the agent cancel and rebook my reservation. I may give Rover another chance, but I cannot in good conscience give you a higher rating.

Min Kone og jeg fandt en hunde passer inde på, da vi skulle på en weekend i Sverige sammen. Vedkommende det passede vores hund mistede ham, og nægtede at være behjælpelig ved at finde ham. Vi fandt ham heldigvis selv. Rover var ikke til at komme i kontakt med, og nu står vi og har betalt 800 kr for en pasning hvor passeren mistede vores hund. Samtidig missede vi så vores fly og hotel i Sverige. Alt i alt omkring 8000 kr vi mistede på dette. Hunde passeren vi brugte hedder Ole og bor i Kjellerup området. Jeg fraråder på det største at bruge ham!!!
