Broke out Ipod
They broke our Ipod. We brought it in got a new screen, got a new screen, but it didn't fit. They convinced by daughter that a new case, which they provided (super cheap case) would hold everything together. Not acceptable. I went back to take up the cause and they eventually gave her a used one for free; one they used as a loaner. I did still pay the original bill, however. If I wasn't there, my kid would still be left with a broken Ipod.

Christine, I am sorry that there was a problem with your repair service. I did look up the ticket from 2013 and it looks life the frame was bent and that is why the screen kept coming up. We put it in a case to alleviate the issue as we thought that would be the best option for usability and as you stated we did replace the iPod so you would not have this issue any further. I want to clarify that we did everything we could and fixed the issue and we did not break the device as the only issue was the screen would pop up because the pressure from the frame. Don't Waste Your Money
The port on my kindle fire would not allow it to charge. I sent my device into RockIt Repairs and was charged $60.00. It was an easy process and I got it back really fast. I was able to charge my kindle however after about 35 days it stopped charging again. I contacted the company but was told the guarantee was only good for 30 days. They were nice and polite but would not fix my kindle unless I paid another $60.00. I wish I hadn't spent the money because it wasn't worth it.

Maureen, I am very sorry to hear that your port stopped charging after 30 days. The charging port issue with the kindle is a defect in their engineering and when we repair it, it can break again for quite a few reasons. However I am not sure who told you that the repair is good for only 30 days as we have a 90 day warranty. Too slow
They repaired the glass but the turn around time was horrible. Plenty of excuses ( out of stock parts etc) but at the end of the day it was nearly 2 weeks

It was awhile ago so it is hard for me to go back and look why the package may have taken so long to arrive but again I am sorry about any delay that happened as we strive hard for this not to be the case. Not a good choice for computer screens.
Left a relatively new Lenovo touch screen computer with them for months. Needed the touch screen replaced. They installed a non-touch screen and tried to give that to us. We asked for them to install a touch screen. After several more months they called and said come get it because they couldn't fix it. They had the computer for about 8 months. They left the non-touch screen in place, but it did not work. It was so dim it couldn't be seen. By the time we got it to another shop, they could no longer get parts for it, but they were able to make the new non-touch screen work. They were always polite and friendly. They might be OK fixing cell phone screens.

Touch screen laptops are very finicky when it comes to replacement parts and that is no excuse the delay in parts arrival. The issue most of the time we find is that these only come from China and take 2-3 weeks to arrive. Repairs were not successful and no customer service
I first talked to a representative on the phone about the repair I was looking at having done to my device. I was told this is a common repair and they have great success in getting it fixed and operating properly quickly. I sent our device for the repair. They did send me a picture in an email to "Show me" that the repair was a success. When I received the device in the mail a few days later it still did not work. I called to ask and they told me it worked before they shipped it and they sent the picture as proof. I was told either sorry or I could ship it back and pay to have it fixed again. Very disappointed in the service and repair. It woudl have been better for them to simply say "We can't fix that." Then I would not have wasted my money on shipping and cost.

Rebecca, We have a 90 day warranty with our repair service. We do take pictures of the device charging and you said you did receive this and it was charging in the picture. If you received it back and it was not charging it could be the charging cable or the usb port is not the correct voltage for that device. We do have a 90 day warranty and you can send it back in within 90 days and we will fix for free. I am not sure who said that you would be charged but this is not the case. poor quality repair, took a lot of time to resolve
I sent in my son's Galaxy S3 for a charging port repair. Everything went smoothly. The phone came back quickly and was charging again. After a week it stopped charging. I shipped it back to Rockit. They took a look at it and told me that the port was cooked, the leads to the port were damaged, and I was responsible because I had opened the phone and put some black epoxy inside near the port. I asked them to send me hi resolution pictures. The black epoxy was actually the plastic from the port that had melted because they had shorted the port with a poor soldering job. The port charged the phone until it melted from the short. After a good amount of back and forth they put in a wireless battery. They sent me a charger, the phone, and my money back. Highly dissatisfied to have them ruin the phone, blame me for it, and not do a whole lot to resolve the situation. I would not recommend this company. The techs are not well qualified for sensitive soldering work.

Charged to not fix device
My Playstation 3 had the yellow light of death error, so I took it to them. The staff was friendly and professional. Three days later, they called to tell me it was actually a red light of death and couldn't be fixed. And they still charged me over $100.00 for that information.

got lost
Took a very long time to replace glass on I pad mini. Got lost in the shuffle. Was close to 3 weeks or a month.
