My experience was so bad, there was nothing to pay them for. They did not fix my phone, and still charged me $29. They did not do anything to minimize the water damage. I got absolutely no communication from them, eventually just picked up my phone and left. I sent a snail mail letter outlining my dissatisfaction. (No answer....no surprise.). I hope they've improved since then.

Three years ago I had them repair my broken galaxy s4 glass screen. It was sent back to me with significantly decreased sensitivity, I couldn't click anything along the edges of the sceeen. I sent it back for a 2nd time and I got it back with permanent black and brown marks on the screen. They didn't even apologize, just made the excuse that they were using a new machine. They offered for me to send it back a 3rd time but I was tired of paying shipping for a company I no longer trusted. Would not recommend these guys to anyone despite their highly convincing marketing.

I had a Droid3 that wouldn't power on but I wanted to be able to recover my old data so that I could transfer it to a new phone that I had already purchased. I took it to RockIT for either repairs or data recovery after calling & being told that it would cost $25 for a "no guarantees" diagnosis but that they felt confident that my phone could be repaired & that I would pay additional charges for the repairs if they were correct. Later, I was told that the phone's motherboard was dead & that there was nothing that they could do... $25, no repair, no big deal. Driving home, I noticed a local competitor (NAME REMOVED TO SATISFY TRUST PILOT's TERMS OF SERVICE) that repairs electronics & thought that I'd stop in for a 2nd opinion. Two days later, I was told that my phone's motherboard was the only thing salvageable and that for $100, they could pull it out & put it into the new phone leaving all of my data intact. They came through & I was able to pull all of my data off & put it on the new phone which is all I was interested in doing anyway. I returned to RockIT with my repaired phone in hand & demanded a refund which they granted but one can only wonder how many others have paid for a false diagnosis & never realized it. My suggestion is to stay as far away from RockIT as you can!

I used to like this place. I would send our company phones there. They'd notify me that they received them. They'd fix them right away and ship them back right away - which was what I needed. And they'd let me know when the phone shipped. All what I expected. But the last time I sent a phone, I got no notification when the phone arrived. They took a week or two to fix it, only fixed it after I called/emailed about the status, then finally sent it back to me. I even contacted the owner, since I am connected with him on LinkedIn, to see what the problem was with service this time. I got no reply to that email. Since then I have not used this company. Poor response time and no answer to my question to the owner. That was enough for me to go elsewhere.

Staff is dishonest and performs subpar shoddy work. They do not verify their work and I was given a computer that was NOT fixed properly. Additionally, I was told that a part was ordered yet when I took my computer in another staff member looked on the computer and told me that no part was EVER ordered (talk about having a CASUAL relationship with reality). Additionally the length of time for repair was not congruent with what I was told. I posted a review video showing the poor quality work titled "Rockit Repairs Review Fredericksburg, VA". Avoid using them.

My Kindle stopped charging. Read reviews that Rockit Repairs fixes this issue as a lot of people have run into this problem. Their customer service was fine, but about after a month I had the same problem again. I feel like I lost $50. If you fix something, it should stay fixed.

Did not fix the issue. Store had my phone for over a week. When I came to check on it, they had not even ordered the part yet so it was another week to wait for my still broken phone

My wife's phone screen cracked, so I brought it in. A few days later it was ready, but when I picked it up the proximity sensor was going crazy and it couldn't be used, so I took it back. Then I got it back and the touch screen wouldn't work consistently, so I took it back. Then the proximity sensor wasn't working again. Then the touch screen started registering phantom touches all over the surface, dozens per second, so I took it back. After six months of waiting and trying, the phone was still basically unusable. I eventually gave us, and to their credit they refunded my money. After a month into this saga, my parents were visiting and my mom's iPad Mini got a cracked screen. She took it to RockIT, who said they'd have it fixed the next day. The next day it wasn't ready. The day after that they said they'd accidentally ripped a ribbon cable and couldn't repair it so would have to send it off to be repaired. She flew home without it the next day. Then she was contacted to say that it couldn't be repaired and none of her data could be saved.
