Overpriced product, backorder, wrong shipment and inadequate product info
Bought and paid for a Centroform EZFORM LV 1827 in may 2015, and quickly got a mail saying, that the product was in backorder until late July. Two month later I finally recieve a shipping confirmation, but only 1 out of 2 packages arrive. I contact RobotShop about the matter and they assure me that they send the other package right away. A couple of weeks later I receive a package containing the part I already got ones. I contact RobotShop one more time and get the explanation, that they are still waiting for the second part from their supplier, so why they decided that sending out the same part of a machine twice would somehow improve my expierience as a customer is a mystery to me. Never the less, now I have to wait for a return-label in order to return the package, and then they will send me the actual last part. Now, three month after placing the order I receive the last part, which I believe to contain the a vacuum-pump (I'd expect it to be included in a 1895USD machine + it is quite an essential part of the operation of a vacuum-former). Now, I am searching the boxes and the internet for some info on assembling the product, with no luck. I find that the machine is not fittet with a wall plug. I have to by and fit that myself. Not a big deal, but it was not stated anywhere on RobotShop's website. I also find that alot of assembly has to done by disassembling the product and putting it back together. Last thing I simply can't figure out is where to connect the power to the vacuum pump, so I take the buttom part apart, only to find, that it contains air and some tubing. Wondering how and oven-heater, some tubing and some stainless steel can cost 1895USD I go to RobotShop.com to see, if it says anything about the vacuum pump not being included in the product. Not excactly. It says at the very bottom of the products page that 3 vacuum pumps are suggested, but to say that this is clearly specified anywhere, would be an exaggeration. The suggested vacuum pumps are another 300USD, but none of them are even available from RobotShop.com, so how was I ever to know that my 1895USD would only get me an oven heater, som tubing and a stainless steel frame. All in all this product is overpriced, lacking in information and userbillity and RobotShop's role in the whole matter reflects nothing but incompetence an disregard for their customers expierience.
