Hi O.G., We reviewed our logs and your account and we don't see where the number you provide has ever tried to contact us, perhaps you had an old number that is no longer in service. Please use our website "Contact Us" link or use "Live Chat" to speak with an agent if you would like to cancel your order and receive a refund. You utilized PayPal and refunding after a certain length of time is a manual process, but someone will be happy to help if that is your desire. As for our inventory allocation process, inventory is allocated on a first come first serve bases. Unfortunately many of our publishers were closed for 6 months and once they started back up they are working with a partial staff as are we. So they are shipping our replenishments, but based on the purchase orders we placed, so if we ordered 500, they will ship the 500 even if by now we need 1,000. While we understand that waiting can be frustrating our team is working as fast as we can given the circumstances we currently find ourselves. But as I mentioned earlier, if you would contact us through one of the forms I mentioned above, while it may take a couple of days, your requests will be processed. Be well and stay safe.

Michelle, no one has refused to give you a refund. You have not filed a claim with FedEx which is the first step that has to be taken. On our side the package shows delivered , it will be necessary to work with our team to get your claim filed. This isn't the first packaged you stated didn't show up in your ordering history, so you should be aware of the process. We see your open support case and we will get to it as soon as humanly possible. We are working with a reduced level of staff and we respectfully request some additional time to resolve your issue. Generic Stranger, Here are a few facts that you may not be aware of: All retailers have a returns process, so a charge back should be your last resort not the first. Too many chargebacks can raise the cost of processing credit cards for a company. The retailer gets charged a fee every time a chargeback occurs. This is in addition to the money refunded to you. Once you initiate a chargeback, your card is flagged by the credit card processor. It's important to note that if you initiate too many chargebacks, your card company may suspend your account as well or you will find your card starts being rejected by other retailers that use the same credit card processor we do. There are not as many processors as one would think. We suspend accounts until all chargeback issues have been resolved and we have been refunded the fees associated with the chargeback to protect our credit card processing rating. While we can understand you might believe this to be unfair, you will find that most retailers will follow this same practice to protect their credit card processing score. Our policy is stated on the Order and Payment FAQ page typed just like this: PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT DUE TO THE HIGH COST OF PROCESSING CREDIT CARDS, EXCESSIVE CREDIT CARD DECLINES or CHARGE BACKS CAN RESULT IN YOUR ACCOUNT BEING SUSPENDED, OPEN ORDERS BEING CANCELLED AND/OR YOUR ACCOUNT BEING PLACED ON A PAYPAL ONLY PAYMENT METHOD. PAYPAL PAYMETHOD REQUIRES THE FUNDS TO BE TAKEN AT TIME THE ORDER IS PLACED. While we are saddened you opted to proceed this way, we followed our policy, which you agree to when you shop on our site. Dear Diss Miss, While we would be happy to look into your situation if you would like to provide an order number. We would like to point out a few things. * If all of your items were not in-stock when you placed your order, international orders are held until all items are in-stock and this is clearly stated in our shipping policies. * Orders are ONLY cancelled when a customer requests it, the credit card declines and no one contacts us to fix it or if it is out right fraud. Regardless an email is automatically sent from our system when orders are cancelled providing the reason, you might want to check your spam filter. * Our system refunds the entire amount of unshipped orders that are prepaid with Sezzle or PayPal as credit card orders are only charged when orders shipped. Since you indicated your order did not ship, we are not certain how you would be charged $60 shipping as our system will not allow such behavior to protect our customers. We wish you well and will indeed review your case if you would like to provide some additional information.

Hi Fisherman, We are a little confused by your statements. You should have received an order confirmation within minutes of submitting the order if you gave us a valid email address. As for not receiving responses we are working with reduced staff and heavier volumes due to the pandemic, so you should have received a response, but if your expectations were an immediate response, then we apologize we are simply not in a position to provide immediate responses. Our returns policy is available on the website and our representatives should have recommended returning it media mail, but $18 would indicate that you most likely it sent it 1st class or priority which would not have been something we could have controlled. We all make mistakes sometimes, so if you would like me to review your situation, please provide an order number and I will be more than happy to do so. Best Wishes

John, we ask for pictures of the shipping container so we can file a claim with the carrier to be refunded by the carrier. Aniplex products are not returnable and given the cost of the products we try to recoup from the carriers. I reviewed your photos and all of the details around the shipping of your package including the type of box we used and the weight, which would indicate it left our facility with our protective packaging, so I’m confident the minor damage to the corner happened transit. Given that you no longer had the shipping container, my staff was following our policy as we would have paid for the replacement shipping but since we couldn’t file a claim with the carrier we ask that you pay for the product to be returned as the minor damage to the corner did not interfere with the actual products on the interior. We understand this is frustrating but we pride ourselves on our packaging and keeping prices affordable and we do both by adhering to our policies. I also read your product review and it was not a product review it was a service review as you mention nothing about the show only that the corner was dinged on the exterior box. The regulations about product reviews are clear and we will gladly publish a 1-star review when they are actually discussing the products. We wish you all the best.

You clearly ordered out of stock products, our VP provided the update below to customers, but it is possible you weren’t subscribed to our email, so you would not have received updates. While we are sorry your first experience wasn’t the best, we’ve been in business for 33 years and have hundreds of thousands of customers who can tell you the delays in 2020 are not our typical shipping behavior. It is truly unfortunate that people lack the capacity to be understanding given that our current conditions are not typical. Regardless we wish you well. The updated mentioned above: To All of our Amazing Anime, Manga and More Shoppers: I wanted to take a minute and update you on a few things and ask a couple of favors. First let me give you a little background information. You may or may not know that a large number of our publishers and suppliers ship from the coasts. Sadly, some of the coastal cities have been hit the hardest by the COVID-19 pandemic. Most of our publisher and supplier warehouses closed down late February or early March and just recently opened back up and started shipping. However, many of the fulfillment centers just like RightStufAnime are running with reduced staff to maintain acceptable distance to keep our staff safe. Additionally, all carriers, UPS, FedEx, and USPS are experiencing huge delays in updating tracking information due to their exponentially higher volume. Our favor is that you wait 10 business days (M-F) prior to contacting our fabulous Customer Care team to ask the status of your fully in-stock order. If it left our facility and you have tracking information, we can't do anything for 30 days after our package has left the facility to file a claim, so be patient. Also remember, we only ship fully in-stock orders daily and partial shipping is based on our Partial Shipping Policy. We understand these are trying times, but all of us at RSA have friends and families relying on us to stay healthy and safe while we take care of our fabulous customers.
