Right Stuf AnimeReviews of rightstufanime.com

I have been a Rightstuf customer for years. Their prices are not only the lowest in the industry, but their free shipping threshold is very easy to hit. Not to mention the few times I had to reach out to their customer service they were very helpful. Their packing is also significantly better than Amazon. I can think of very few reasons not to use them.

I've been shopping with Right Stuf since I was a tween using their paper catalog and they're my main supplier of anime/manga. Everyone is always so sweet, shipping is always fast (and they try to bundle everything together which I appreciate since it has less of an impact on the environment that way!) and they have plenty of deals and savings to ease the strain on your wallet. I also love that I don't have to pay sales tax since I live out of their state, so I'm able to squeak in a few more volumes of manga I otherwise wouldn't be able to so I can get that sweet, sweet free shipping. I honestly can't praise this organization enough. My friends and I always shop here anytime we need anime/manga--the only exception being if it's an out of print title we're getting from a second-hand store, or buying things directly from dealers at cons. The few times I've had to call about some issue (usually user error on my part, where I didn't realize I ordered the wrong version of something until after confirming everything was correct) I just can't help but smile and be put in such a great mood at the sound of Captain Tylor's voice message. Everyone I've ever talked to/emailed regarding issues has been so sweet and so helpful. It truly feels like a place run by and for fans, and it just warms my heart in a way that's probably very dorky but is very sincere. I don't know anyone that's ever had a single bad experience ordering from Right Stuf.

What can I say? Right Stuf Anime is a terrific company. I have been a customer of theirs now for about three years. Every order with them has been fantastic. Unlike Amazon, Right Stuf Anime takes the time to package your order, making sure that it will arrive at your door intact and undamaged. They really do an incredible job. And packaging is not the only element of service Right Stuf excels at. Their customer support is fantastic as well. They happily answered my questions and addressed my concerns. The staff that worked with me seemed more than happy to help. Which was a very pleasant experience, indeed. Ever since finding this company, I have never ordered another Anime/Manga from Amazon. Right Stuf's prices are competitive, they care about their customers, and, with their vast selection, I cannot imagine shopping anywhere else. I highly recommend throwing your business their way, if your in the market. Right Stuf Anime is a fantastic company. I cannot recommend them enough.

I've been a RightStuf customer for over 20 years now, and spend thousands of dollars a year with them on anime and manga for myself and my friends. Their selection is essentially a complete one-stop-shop--if it is officially available in the US, and still in print, they carry it. This includes a number of exclusives that you basically can't get anywhere else. And their prices, particularly on the regular sales they have, are *better* than Amazon. Plus they pack and ship stuff very well in custom-assembled packaging designed to get a 10-pound box of BDs or manga to the door in one piece--I probably average a box of either anime or manga every 2-3 weeks, and I've had to RMA well under one item a year due to shipping damage. Customer support has always been helpful on the rare occasions I've needed them (if you call, their hold music is great, too). Sure, I could pay more to get stuff tossed in a box with no packing material by an overworked and underpaid Amazon worker, and it *might* get to my door a little faster in the hands of some underpaid and super-sketchy delivery company, but why would I do that? The website is solid, the search works well, and you get anime/manga-specific filtering tools that make it easy to find exactly what you want--I can for example select "manga only, on sale, romance genre, with slice-of-life theme, sorted by release date" and get exactly what it is I want to see, with no noise. There's literally no reason to shop anywhere else for manga and anime.

Quality and selection of the items is what I most like about the company. Ordered many items thus far that have always arrived in will packaged containers and without damage. Items are shipped and delivered very quickly compared to other distributors when items are in-stock (and company will notify you when an out-of-stock item becomes stocked for convenience). Pre-orders arrive timely on release date, or before release date in my cases. Company offers sales seemingly every week so there are few times that an anime I'm interested in isn't affordable or isn't on sale. Company also prioritizes, from my experience, sending as few boxes as possible for orders which is a very small action that I enjoy and appreciate.

In my opinion, this is one of the best places to buy manga. Previously, I bought mainly from Amazon. However, Amazon would sometimes send books that are badly damaged. In contrast, RightStuf packages their books better. All my books came in pristine condition (which is at least 40 books) and I was satisfied with the shipping speed. In my experience, my orders were only late when the item is very popular and they didn't have any stock. Also, the Covid situation doesn't help much either. Before covid, I remember I received a volume of a pre-ordered manga about a week before its release date which was great. I also value their transparency. They send emails about the status of the work that they are doing Finally, their prices are some of the best out of all online retailers. There are weekly sales as well as the big birthday and holiday sales. They allow you to get a lot of manga for cheap. This site is legit, has good packaging, great prices, and ships fairly quickly when there isn't a pandemic raging on.

I have been a regular RightStuf shopper for more than ten years, during which time I have placed over 500 orders for anime and manga. My items consistently arrive timely, in good condition, protected by both cardboard bumpers and paper cushioning. I can count on one hand the number of orders that did not arrive in pristine condition and on each of those occassions my issue was resolved promptly and courteously by a customer service team member. One of the things I love most is that RightStuf has a phone number you can call if you need to speak to someone quickly; when you do call they answer and are always friendly and ready to help. In addition to the Weekly Specials, their birthday and holiday sale prices can't be beat...I look forward to them every year. I love being a RightStuf customer and I will be making many more purchases from them in years to come. Even during the past few months, which have been difficult for companies both large and small, Right Stuf has continued to provide exceptional customer service. Buy with confidence from pretty much the only online company who loves anime and manga as much as their customers do!

I have been shopping with Right Stuf for decades and will never go anywhere else. It has the best way to find anime stuff because that’s all they sell, so there’s no random other stuff in searches and they have everything. The package I recently received was packaged with such care and I love the recyclable stuffing. I also like how easy it is to contact customer service if I ever have any question.
