Xochimex Cantina Grill (fast casual restaurant) has been through 4 POS systems in the last 7 years. We were looking for something flexible and versatile, without the big price tag. Our business was in need of increase efficiencies and creating new revenue opportunities. With Revel System, we have been able to implement inventory management down to the recipe level. We have created additional revenue with Gift Card and we are very excited to introduce Online Order soon! Where ever Xochimex Cantina Grill grows to in the future it will be with Revel Systems.

All around great POS system . Very user friendly. Decent price point with continual updates. Customer service come a long way past 4 years which was by far the weakness . Make sure you have an awesome sales rep like Vinh who is so helpful and knowledgeable. Very reliable system.

Revel is defending the best POS i was working with, It is easy to operate and easy to function. I'm in the restaurant business for many years and revel is my best POS experience so far! Customer service is always available to help 24/7 and will do everything to help with following up about any issues.

I've had 3 restaurants and used 2 different POS's. When it came time to replace them, I looked long and hard at the options. Why did I pick Revel? 1) I was really tired of paying 4 figures for proprietary hardware. The terminals from the legacy POS's? Only work with their system. And if they break? So expensive to get repaired. Revel's terminals? iPads! 2) I was really tired of paying 5 figures for propreitary software and then getting nickled and dimed for support calls. Revel's software? Web based and it's updated automatically for a flat monthly fee. 3) Revel is as completely functional as any of the legacy POS's. Has every feature you need for your restaurant or bar. 4) Easy to scale. If you need to add terminals, simple. It's not perfect but no POS is. I've been very happy with Revel and total cost for hardware and software was easily half what you would pay with a legacy POS.

Revel support is fantastic. Our only complaint is their sales team. It is hard to get straight forward answers, even when you are trying to spend money with them.

The product is the best I've seen of its class and the tech support team is available 24/7 to help with any problems that arise. While that is great, ideally we would never have to contact the support team at all.

Really happy with the ease of functionality of Revel Systems. I researched my choices 4 years ago and chose Revel; I'd make the same choice today.

Revel has a great support team and is always helpful. With that said, the software itself is frustrating and not as user friendly as we would like. It almost seems as if those who are creating and updating Revel do not actually use it on a day to day basis. We use it for retail so I am not sure if maybe the restaurant business finds it easier to work with but because we have constant inventory, sales, custom orders, etc . it is not very flexible.
