I really questioned the importance of having a group look at my contract. I did not know what to expect and my experience with the whole team has been great. They were very prompt on getting back with me and it was very helpful to be able to ask questions throughout the process. I would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent resource
When I looked at the technological changes since the last time I job hunted, it was intimidating. Having Melissa Lawson and her team to vet my CV to what recruiters were looking for these days, and wading thru all the online job sites I had no idea existed, was a blessing. The detailed evaluation of what I was looking for, where I was able to consider relocating to, and facilitating the interactions with potential positions made it so much easier. I simply did not have the time to do all this by my self. The lists they sent me to winnow out maximized my time. Once I had an offer, being able to have the contract view team look at the compensation package and terms offered, to then compare to the national and regional norms, made me more comfortable that nothing underhanded was being backended into the contract. Kyle Claussen, the contract lawyer who reviewed everything, was great to work with, reassured me that my concerns about language were not unreasonable, and was readily available. When the final version of the contract was emailed to me in the late afternoon, I was able to review it, forward it to him, and he got back to me by 8:30 am the next morning. I was able to sign on the dotted line with confidence that this was a good deal for everyone. The service was worth every penny.

Excellent choice for doctors coming out of residency
As the saying goes, "A man who is his own lawyer has a fool for a client."
Everyone coming out of residency needs someone to review their contracts, Resolve did a great job doing that. But there's a lot more value on offer. They analyze the opportunity as well as the contract and negotiate on your behalf. Moreover, they have a sense of what people are getting and what is fair. As a bonus there was no hard sell of insurance products. They offered, but that was all.
If I had to do it over again, I would have signed up with them at the beginning of the year and had them involved in the negotiations from the get-go. That's what I'm recommending to this years seniors.
The only downside is that they aren't local, so you can't sit down face to face. In my opinion that's the best way to do business. On the positive side, Skype is functional and being able to schedule meetings late at night was a bonus.
Very highly recommended for basic contracts between 2 or 3 parties. I didn't do anything overly complex, so I can't evaluate that.

There were 2 components of the contract review process. I did not use another agency so this may be biased:
1) Compensation- this was a valuable assessment. The agent was professional and fair. It did give me perspective on the package analysis and how it fit with others in the region. Also gave points to negotiate based on their analysis.
2) Contract- Minimal analysis on this. They really didnt raise much red flags although this process could have been a little more personalized. Offered to negotiate for me, but I deferred as the points werent that major. I did most of the reading of the contract and raised points myself.
Overall, if I had to do it all over, I would have gone to another firm (there are only a handful of them that previously wrote columns for practicelink). I would consult with practicelink for background reading and look into resources on the web about the contract process, esp for 1st time clients (MD first job).

I’m sorry our team’s analysis was below your expectations. We pride ourselves in our expertise and attention to detail when reviewing and negotiation contracts, which is why I would really like to look into your situation.
Would you be open to emailing me at [email protected]? I’d really like to look into this further so that we can be better for the doctors we serve.
Thank you for your feedback, it’s much appreciated and I look forward to speaking with you.

A must for all residents looking for jobs
We all spend a million years learning about medicine but no one ever teaches us how to navigate the business side of medicine. Applying for jobs and getting offers was easy, understanding what those contracts actually said was an entirely different story. I was so grateful for the Resolve Physician Agency because I got my own lawyer that I could book time online with which was super easy and I got someone I could talk to whenever I had a question for a flat fee. One of my favorite things was that I didn't feel like I was hemorrhaging money every time I had a question or concern. I had two separate contracts I was seriously considering and Kyle, my attorney, reviewed them, we discussed my questions and then he negotiated with the group's attorney. I'm not sure how busy everyone is at the end of residency but this was probably the most amazing thing! I didn't have to worry about burning any bridges and I knew that I had someone fighting for me that understood all of legal jargon and wasn't swayed or intimidated by another lawyer. Resolve also has a bunch of regional/national data about pay/vacation/benefit stuff that they will use to help negotiate points in your contract. This helped me for sure! I cannot say enough great things about how amazing this experience has been. It was the best money I have spent in my life and I would have paid twice as much for the flexibility, unlimited access, and negotiating! I have already referred two of my co-residents and a fellow I work with to these guys. You won't be disappointed.

One stop shopping for good advice and guidance
I learned about this agency from a colleague who used them when it came time to consider signing a contract. As a new graduate looking for work was exhausting and trying to understand all the intricacies of the positions and associated contracts was a tall order. I knew I needed some assistance breaking everything down to my level. I also knew that when it came time for negotiations I would have no clue what I was doing. After using Resolve Physician Agency I can honestly say I would recommend them. They represent an incredible value for the services they are providing. Not only do you get financial assistance but also legal counsel which is key. Again, as a first timer I really felt I would be doing myself a disservice going into a contract without any previous experience. Fortunately the advisors at Resolve will make sure you are brought up to speed. Through the discussions with them I never felt rushed. In fact on many occasions they took extra time to explain things. They are able to draw things up in plain language and also offer to negotiate on your behalf. From start to finish things were smooth and effortless. In my particular case I was really only looking at a single practice but they also provide a multi contract option as well. My fiancé utilized the latter option and similarly found things to be great. I'm happy to have found Resolve and would recommend them in the future.

Professional and punctual contract review
Kyle and Amber helped to review my diagnostic radiology contract. They were able to reword my contract to get me an extra $3000 bonus. They were professional and friendly. I have already booked them to review my wife's contract.
