Sham business by AnonymousApril 16, 2025 Don’t be fooled. Residents Supply is NOT a US based business and has no physical presence in Coral Gables, Florida as their marketing information implies. Resident Supply rotary dimmers are NOT COMPATIBLE with LED lighting. The business is apparently a sleek Chinese operation and nothing more than a sleek website for selling sham product with outdated technology. It appears they have handful of employees who use different names to create the impression of being a large company. BEWARE! Customers calling their “customer service” 800 # are greeted by an English accent voice that is as phony as the business. BEWARE! I purchased rotary dimmers in different configurations, working with Joseph in the process and paid $2000+ for the products shipped. The dimmers it turns out only work with permanently installed incandescent lighting. In the USA LED is now standard. The dimmers DO NOT work with LED lighting, I have spent hours on the phone with Luis supposedly in tech support, Raph in customer service, Faith in their tracking department and others, along with my electricians. I paid for the installation of the dimmers and then their removal. I was told they would ship a new LED compatible product 10 days ago and today was advised by email the product was back ordered until May! I phoned the 800 # and reached coincidentally, Faith. I insisted on speaking with Raph. She answered my call after waiting for 45 minutes. I requested the return and full refund for the outdated product and am being stonewalled. I am willing to try their new LED compatible product if it is shipped in a reasonable time frame. The company has agreed to replace the product they shipped me with the new product if it actually works. They continue to stand behind “policy” saying any return would be outside of the two week return policy and returns are subject to a 50% restocking fee. BEWARE! Don’t be scammed. I will update my review at the appropriate time and advise if the new product is actually compatible with LED lighting.

Our dimmers are indeed compatible with LED lighting—as long as the LED bulbs or fixtures are dimmable and support TRIAC (leading-edge) dimming. After reviewing the details of your case, it appears that while your LED lights are dimmable, they operate using ELV (trailing-edge) technology, which is unfortunately not compatible with our current dimmer models. We completely understand how this technical mismatch could lead to inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for the trouble it has caused.
