DO NOT PURCHASE--POOR QUALITY & SERVICE. We purchased a floor lamp that looked cheap and flimsy, especially given the price ($800, absurd). When I tried to return it, they required me to pay for shipping ($150) and charged a 50% restocking fee. They then mistakenly reshipped the product as an exchange instead of processing the return, and asked us to cover return shipping for their own error—while still only offering store credit as a concession. Overall, a terrible experience. I would not recommend buying from this brand; both the product quality and customer service were extremely disappointing. I know the lights look beautiful on their website and instagram but their branding in their greatest strength and the product itself looks like temu quality in person. Not worth it, please trust me.

Their new line of light switches are much worse than the original ones. I wouldn't recommend them at all. I've never been treated worse by a customer service team. Also, their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced. Their customer service center approved two returns (1 with a return number and the other without a return number), both shipped within the same box. They only credited me for the product with a return number. They claim they never received the return without the return number ... even though I put them in the same box. When I mentioned this to them, they refer to their return policy that states I need to generate a return number, even though it was confirmed by them via email that this wasn't needed for my particular return...

They don't answer the calls and waste your time

Buyer absolutely beware. Shipping updates were terrible. "item has shipped" emails received the day of delivery. Zero updates between order and delivery. The return process is even worse. 50% restocking fee UNLESS you buy more stuff from them. I ordered 15 of the same item and had to individually select the return and reason for each individual item. This is just amateurish. They do not facilitate the returns process at all, via shipping labels etc. You pay your own freight on return. 100% would not shop here again for these reasons.

The company sent the wrong screws for the plates and the plates did not fit. It took 10 days to get an answer from customer service and they have a policy which charges a 50 percent restocking fee. I didn’t even open one of the boxes. I opened one plate in a separate box. I would never do business with a Company like this. Even when I went to return I noticed the return label they provided had the wrong address. Very unprofessional.

We are a design firm and ordered switches for a client in June, and they worked fine. Some missing pieces from our order, but they seemed to be working on that, and we needed to start Phase II with another set of switches. We went ahead and ordered thos and NONE of these have the dimming capability of the first batch. Flash forward, and now we are waiting on the missing pieces from the first order, and we're stuck with a second order that, you guessed it, had more missing pieces. I cannot tell if it's a bot or a person asking 'why have I waited so long to bring up 'my issues' with the product. Frustrated and disappointed at this point, with a deadline looming. These are pretty switches, too bad the quality of the product and customer service has gotten so low. **UPDATE: 'Regarding dimming, our switches require TRIAC-compatible dimming, which is noted on our website. This may explain the difference you’ve experienced compared to your earlier batch.' ...We ordered additional units of the same modules that were already installed and dimming properly, the second batch did not have the same functionality as the first batch of the exact same sku. (I will update this review if all items we have ordered and reinstalled work this time.)

I ordered three 4-gang “brass” switch banks from Residence Supply. The cost was over $1K. As soon as I opened the package I knew something was off. The switches do not look like brass but instead a combination of anodized aluminum and plastic. We are using many real brass finishes, and you could instantly see this was a poor simulation with a very cheap plasticky feel. Since this is an online only company advertises “30 day returns” I thought ok no big deal I’ll send them back. When I tried, they put you through a long and pointless process of sending photos of each and every thing ordered. And then several days passed with no communication, after which they informed me there is a 50% restocking fee!!! Insane. This is such a scammy company BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

I purchased a light switch from Residence Supply and had it professionally installed. The unit was defective right out of the box — the light would only flicker on briefly unless the switch was left halfway through its motion. Obviously not safe or usable. When I reached out, instead of standing behind their product, they pulled the warranty card and started demanding photos, videos, packaging, and waybill numbers — even after I explained the switch had to be uninstalled because it didn’t work. They already had the order number, acknowledged the order number, and knew exactly which product this was, so there was no issue confirming the purchase. I wasn’t asking for a refund, just a simple replacement for a defective unit. At this price point, I would never have this problem with Home Depot or Lowe’s. They stand behind what they sell. Residence Supply, unfortunately, does not. Update: Their response to my complaint makes it even clearer — this company simply doesn’t stand behind their products. Hiding behind a 14-day policy when they shipped a defective unit is unacceptable. Projects don’t always get installed the day they arrive, and any reputable company would make it right. Their own words prove the point: Residence Supply clearly doesn’t care once they’ve made the sale.
