I booked a hotel, thinking I was dealing directly at the hotel. I had to cancel my reservation due to my husbands death and they kept $148.00+, saying they would work with the hotel to get a refund for me. I contacted the hotel directly, who said they never got the payment, so reservationsdesk.com is keeping my money and giving me a run around. I am investigating to see where they are located, so I can possibly deal with the Better Business Bureau in their area. DON'T BOOK FROM THESE PEOPLE.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!!!!! This company is a SCAM. They label themselves online as being the "Reservation Desk" of the hotel you are searching for, then give you misinformation regarding the booking. I was scammed by them when I tried to book at the Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage. They said the Captain Cook was full but that they also had a small hotel "immediately next door" that we could reserve. Since some in our party were already staying at the Captain Cook and we would not have a car, we accepted this since it was just next door. When we got to Anchorage, we found that this hotel was not even close to the Captain Cook, over one mile away, and not in an area anyone would walk in after dark. I tried calling Reservation Desk to tell them we would NOT be checking in, but their number provided only went to Expedia, whom I had never dealt with. Expedia knew nothing about the reservation and denied that the reservation number on file was theirs. I told that front desk that we would not be checking in and they could sell the room to another customer. They said they were full so they would have no problem selling the room. But the charge remained on my credit card. I contacted American Express, but they now say they only "mediate," and this scam company wants to still be paid, even though we never stayed there and they very likely resold the room. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!!!!!! TOTAL SCAM!!!!

Very difficult to work with. Some are helpful but moreover hard to make changes. Lots of mistakes and it makes it hard for the hotel because they can’t do anything due to the 3rd party. If you get Andy. Hang up and hope you get a diff person to work with

When making our reservations we were quoted that our reservation would be refundable up until a certain date. After confirming all of the relevant information with the agent, we were sent an email saying that our reservation was non-refundable. All conversations with the agents are recorded. We called immediately upon receiving our confirmation and were told that the hotel won't refund the reservation since it was noted that it was non-refundable. We told them to listen to the recording to verify that we were told that our reservations were in fact refundable. How would we know of a cancellation date if we weren't informed that be the agent. We have been working with them for three weeks now, and we continue to get a run around.

I booked through Reservation Desk because their quote was lower than what the wedding block price would have been. Reservation Desk quoted me a price of $504.35 total, with $17.99 upfront and $486.36 due at the hotel. Upon checkout at the hotel, I was charged $540.36-- a difference of $54. The hotel told me they could not do anything about that since I booked through Reservation Desk, and I had to dispute it with them. Upon calling Reservation Desk, they told me that the hotel had their own fees that were adding onto what I was being charged. I checked my confirmation and there was nothing that stated the quote they gave me does not include additional hotel fees. They refuse to honor their original quote. Do not use them.

Somehow this company sees what hotel you're searching for online and inserts itself in the booking process. They charge you a nonrefundable booking fee. When you book and subsequently cancel, they will not return this booking fee. You think you are booking with the hotel directly which isn't the case. If you see their logo pop up, get as far away from them as possible. Big time scam.

At the end of May 2025, Reservation Desk booked a room for my family and dog at Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Head, SC with 2 queens and a pull-out couch with refundable $75 pet deposit. There was no pull-out couch or even a couch at all. The pet fee was not refundable even though typically a deposit is considered refundable. They did not inform me that I would pay $17.99 for their lies. Gave me an incorrect confirmation number. I had to call the inn to make sure that my room was actually booked, and they gave me the correct confirmation number. Called last night when I saw that the $75 was charged to my card. The man who answered the phone at 800.727.9059 supposedly out of UT had extremely broken English. He lied and told me that manager was unavailable. Feel this is a criminal enterprise going under the radar. Of course, Hilton Garden Inn is just as sleazy w/their surprise fees that they are still charging. In addition, hotels don't care what a 3rd party told you verbally. Even though they agree to partner with dishonest companies, they won't help you in crisis situations.
