Absolute scum and a scam. Advertised @£69 charged me £111. Rang the hotel said they can't help as its not them and the booking center are imitating them.

Avoid,shocking that Google Ads are facilitating this.

Complete scam ! I thought I was booking directly through the Sofitel Hotel website. The hotel room rate was the same as Booking.com so I booked online . As soon as I booked the confirmation looked strange and I noticed the webaddress. We tried to immediately reverse the transaction but the money had been already taken not £225 but 442.66 dollars equal to £330.42 just for one night before we fly and we can't cancel. I've been trying all day to contact them . I'm so stressed and upset staying overnight was supposed to make our journey to see my sister in law whose receiving end of life care less stressful and we were trying to make it as inexpensive as we could . This appears to have cost us an extra £115 but as I have not received an email confirmation and can't get one off the website I can't verify this .

SCAM. They’re really doubling down on the google ads - these crooks need to be held accountable. Looking into options to take this crowd to legal action. Based on these reviews there will be quite a case..

Same is everyone else - thought I was booking directly with the hotel and they added fees/tax charges on top which I was not aware of , £84 upto 134. Not sure what can be done but a bunch of crooks. Avoid

Booked through what I thought was the Days Inn own website. Unfortunately it diverted to what we now know is a centre in Dallas USA. They charged more for the room than stated and the only phone number is a premium phone number in America as others have said. I managed to get through to the actual hotel we had booked in Taunton and they were very apologetic and told us that the booking came through from BOOKING.COM which he couldn’t understand. The guy at reception was very polite and said he’d investigate further. I will be calling the bank tomorrow to block this company from taking any more money from my account as suggested by someone on here earlier.

I’m reading the reviews, I’ve been trying to email to cancel my reservation, at least 8 times, no response, due to the false advertising. They charged huge tax on top of the price advertised, does anyone know how to get money back….. I literally emailed 5 minutes after the booking …..

Same as others, it appears you are booking directly with the hotel but it isn't. The rooms will be booked for you however changes or cancellations can't be done within 24 hrs of stay. They also charge you a $11.99 service fee which you do not receive a receipt for.
