Booked and CANCELLED a room 8 days ahead, they charged $12.40 on our visa! SCAMMERS!

This website and "support" is a total scam! I would give them negative stars if I could. As other negative reviewers have noted they try to portray themselves as working for various legitimate companies (in my case IHG hotels). Their websites, phone numbers, etc. are designed to make you think that you are dealing directly with a company BUT you are NOT. This is an agregator site and they charge OUTRAGEOUS fees and have awful cancelation policies. They NEVER answer their customer service line either, despite the machine telling you that the wait time is 2 mins. Also Trustpilot, do better. Read the "good" reviews on here, maybe a handful seem legitimate but "John is good service" is not a legitmate review.
