ALISON
Pleasantly surprised to find this service in Longmont...almost!
I was excited to hear about Rep Fitness here in Longmont. My issue is very specific to my personal needs, so it's not a reflection of your offerings as a whole. I have purchased some pull-up bands from you and really love them. I can see how you would be a great resource for cross fit boxes and PT studio. My issue was this. I train competitively in kettlebell sport and also use kettlebells at my studio, so thinking that I'd be able to pick up the bells locally made me very happy (I've been driving to Golden or ordering online). I was disappointed with the selection though. The kettlebells you sell are called competition bells, but without correct coloring, it's only the size that matches. Official kettlebell sport has a very standard color coding for bells and the bells that you sell don't follow the code, which means that I can't use them. One example is your 8kg bell-I believe it's yellow- should be pink and yellow should be used for the 16kg bell. Not sure why the company decided to adopt their own color scheme?

Hi Alison, Thanks for the review! One thing to note: We are definitely aware that the comp kettlebells we got are not up to spec for kettlebell sport. They were a manufacturer's error (we were supposed to get 'regular' style kettlebells but they sent those instead) and that's why we had them priced so cheap. You can check out the new competition kettlebells we've got arriving next week here: http://www.repfitness.com/conditioning/strength-equipment/kettlebells/rep-competition-kettlebells and you'll be pleased to know we have the correct color coding (under "Specs" on the right) on them! We are trying something a bit unorthodox with having them completely powder coated, but the advantage is that the handle will hold chalk _extremely_ well compared to a steel handle, and the grip provided by the powder coat is already very good. Thanks again and definitely feel free to come by and check out the new bells once they're in, which should be late next week! -Ryan
