Such caring and passionate staff disbursed across the world!! I’ve done one four month journey & several one month trips. The Community Leader & / or City Team provide you with many opportunities to engage with your group and build meaningful connections with fellow remotes. The team in each location take you under their wing, helping to keep you safe, whilst sharing their love and insights into magical cities such as Medellín (shout out to the incredible Catalina & Maria! 🙌🏼). Cata & Maria really set the tone for such a wonderful month (& intellectual feast with fellow remotes!). From shared vulnerability unveiling our biggest fears, to comments I remember the team saying early on about being present with the group, and making the echo chamber a positive one. That stuck with me. One month with RY is like doing three months on your own, thanks to them doing all the legwork. Forever grateful for the memories gained & looking forward to some more! 🦋

The Split team is absolutely AMAZING. Ivana, Dado, and Gert – thank you for taking our group under your care for the month. Ivana and Dado even stayed in touch with me for the weeks I stayed after the program to check in. If you enjoy a slower pace, beaches, and coffee, don't sleep on Split – book it now!

Liza and Nikos, the city team in Athens, are a powerhouse duo!! They made the 1-month in Athens phenomenal!! We had so much fun with all the activities, trips, and experiences. They even joined us out and about in Athens at karaoke and movie night. While the destination is well worth the trip, the city team made the trip even more exceptional!!

Albania and the city team, Ardit will go above and beyond to make sure you are having the best time. He will help you organize any trip you are thinking about doing or point you to the people that can help. I know my experience here in Albania was greatly improved because of the city team and Ardit. If beaches and swimming in the sea are your thing this is one of the best places. The water is so clear and the water is warm. It gets hot here in the summer so cooling off in the sea is great. Oh, want to go hiking? Everywhere you look there are mountains. In the north, they have the Albanian Alps which are amazing and the vies and hikes are hard to beat. (Side note I will be back next year to do more hiking here.) Do you like history? Albania has a lot of it the people have been through so much that I cannot explain it all here but talking to locals and Ardit and his friends you learn a lot. I really can't say enough great things about this country and the city team. I have spent an extra week here exploring more of the city.

If you are thinking of doing a one month in Florianópolis, just do it. The city is absolutely beautiful and has many different beaches that are amazing. It is a hidden gem that most foreigners don’t know about! Most importantly though, the city team is top notch! Thiago and Val put in so much effort to making your experience the best it can be. Such an amazing month!

If you're considering doing a 1-month program in Medellin, do it! This city is beautiful, there's always something to do, and everyone you'll come across is super warm. Cata and Maria (the city/community team) did an amazing job at making us feel welcome in Colombia and were always there for you when you had any type of concern. I was also lucky enough to have an amazing group of people with me through my RY journey that made my experience here all the better.

Going on this trip opened my eyes to the possibility of working and living outside of the status quo, and for that I'll always be thankful. Great community leaders, awesome local experiences and immersion, and great relationships that I'm sure will last!
