I made the decision to go to Lisbon for the month of June because I wanted to experience the digital nomad life first-hand. This was my first time travelling with RY so I was a bit apprehensive but it was honestly the best decision I've ever made and I cannot recommend it enough! From day one everything felt right because we were in the capable hands of 2 amazing people, our city leaders, Viviana and Pedro :) They made us feel so welcome and were always available to answer any of our questions. Brilliantly organised events shared with a wonderful group of people from all the over the world. It was a proper community experience. I definitely made some friends for life on this trip! The memories and the laughs will stay with me forever :) Already looking forward to booking my next trip!

I did the 1-month trip to Lisbon with Remote Year back in June. Honestly an unforgettable experience. I met diverse and interesting people in my group and enjoyed every minute of the month. Also, have to give a shoutout to Viviana and Pedro. What genuine and authentic people! The trip was great, but having them lead the program was definitely the cherry on top!

Amazing time with an amazing group of people in Lisbon. This has truly opened my eyes to what travel can be, peeling off many new layers of experiences. From being the kind of guy to backpack through a country, spending 2-3 days in a city before moving on, I now feel that even one month isn't enough to get to know a vibrant city like Lisbon properly. This trip has been the best thing I've ever done, and I will be coming back to Remote Year for more trips in the future!

Loved it!! Can't wait to do my third experience with Remote Year. My most recent was in Lisbon, and it was great, the accommodation, the RY Team, the people... it was spectacular. I couldn't have had a better experience.

I was new to solo travel and had decided on RY due to the opportunity to have a community of people from Day 1 to experience things together. I went on the Lisbon trip and had the absolute time of my life! I met some incredible people that will be life long friends and the city leaders, Pedro and Viviana, were amazing! They worked tirelessly to make sure we were always happy and comfortable, and consistently came up with exciting events that allowed us to experience Lisbon and Portuguese culture. Working remotely in Lisbon was also seamless with the co-work nearby and the fantastic apartments, not to mention plenty of work-friendly cafes in the city as well. I would absolutely recommend RY Lisbon to anyone!

I decided on RY Lisbon for my first and recent trip (June ‘23) for a one month journey to embark. The ads on IG grasped my full attention, but I had no clue I would be having THE TIME OF MY LIFE!!! From our warm initial welcoming and the awesomest planned activities via our city team leaders Pedro and Viviana 💗….to our most beloved and diverse group of members joined!!!!! The transformational experiences, positive connections developed through out our stay, were priceless! I personally feel I gained a worldwide family 🙏🏽🙌💕😇!!!

I've done both Lisbon and Medellin and had a wonderful time in both locations. RY is an excellent way to live in a location long enough to really get a deeper cultural experience. You'll instantly have a bunch of new like-minded friends to go on all the curated activities and trips with. It can be a tough balance with all the social stuff going on and work, but that's a great problem to have. And the city managers/hosts have all been great people that genuinely care about you having a good experience. I'm already looking forward to doing it again!

I had such a great experience going to Croatia through remote year. And all thanks to Ivana and Dado who were the most supportive, helpful sweet community leaders. There was not a moment I didn’t feel unsafe. If I had to chose to do this trip again and of course with Ivana and Dado I would do it again!
