Awful customer service. Decided to ruin my sister's birthday present and called her about the order I purchased for her and stating it was fraud. They were super rude on the phone and it has made me decide never to shop with them again. Went ahead and bought the same thing with a competitor and had them cancel this order due to their terrible customer service.

While making a curbside pick up on Oct 5th, I was greeted by a courteous employee to give my information. After waiting, the merchandise (a bicycle) was brought out and one again was greeted by a courteous employee, Jon K, who went above & beyond to assist in making sure the bicycle was secured on the bike rack for traveling. It is so nice to know that thru all this change, the employees of REI have kept their kindness and professionalism as a top priority as well as their health & safety. Thank you REI & staff for a pleasurable & easy interaction! Stay kind...stay safe...

I had to write a bad review this morning, and I felt the need to also write a positive review for a company that I think does a great job. First company that came to mind was REI. My experience there this weekend was, as always, stellar. This company just gets it. They are incredibly responsible about dealing with COVID19 in their stores, emphasizing safety and cleanliness. Their staff is always friendly and helpful. Their products are top of the line. And most of all, they stand by their products and provide outstanding customer support. A+ to REI!!

Management is young and unprofessional. REI needs to invest their money in Professionals with Maturity. So sad this happens. Look internally at your TOMBALL store.

Ive been a loyal REI member since the 80's. Andrea at Brentwood in St Louis will drive customers away. I asked the manager for her name. Andrea is rude, litterally ran away when I asked her name. Please train her for REI's sake

I should have read the real reviews. I just bought a Cannondale synapse 105. This might be a cheap bike to some but I work hard to make $2,000. The bike was in horrible shape with nothing even close to adjusted. When I took it to a local bike shop they said “I can’t believe someone would actually sell you this in this condition?” To make matters worse, I bought new pedals at the same time. The parts came in a little baggie (not from Shimano) with half of it missing. Bottoms line.....worst company I’ve ever bought from. Be smart and don’t be me.

I have been a cardmember since 1969, bought at the original(?) multi building store in Seattle. I have shopped at REI's across the West and Midwest and ordered online since then. I have always found REI carries quality brand name equipment. Their salespeople both online and in the stores are very helpful and their customer service is good, fast, and friendly. I use the 20% off deal that comes with each annual dividend to buy one major item such as a car rack or Patagonia down coat. Thanks to REI.

Went into store in Greensboro. Wanted to buy hiking boots for family (4 of us). The young pretentious man at the hiking boots inquired as to my 11yo and 6yo didn't have a mask on. Explained, as I already had to gentleman at entrance, that due to medical conditions could not. He explained that they were stricter than governors orders. Was not interested in helping. The entire shoe area was roped off such that I could not even see brands or what they cost. Asked how much a few were/brand and left. Just bought all of us exact hiking boots they had on Amazon for HALF what REI wanted and didn't have to deal with little angry elfs who don't want to work. We visit REI regularly as we spend a lot of time outdoors. Will never again. Hate not to support store fronts but guess this is how REI wants it.
