I've had an account there for years. Wrote a 1000 dollar check to a child. Regions charged 10 dollars to cash the check. My account is Regions. The check was on my account. If I had cashed it no charge. What is the difference between me and my child. They said 1 percent of Amount. That needs to be CAPPED at 2 dollars. So if they cash a 100 dollar check it's 1 dollar. So a 6000 dollar check is 60 dollar. That has no cap. 60 dollars to cash ONE check is nothing short of thieft. If this was was cashed at a non banking business I could understand the charge. But it's MY BANK, MY account where I keep MY MONEY. There should have been NO CHARGE. I can't give my kid money out of MY account where I bank without the bank shorting my child TEN bucks. That's insane j. Ten dollars for cashing a check is Robbery. If I give you a check and you cash it at the same bank it's written on you should NOT need to ALSO have an account at the same bank to cash it without having 10 dollars taken from you. That's bad banking practice.

I called Regions today about a check dispute I’ve been having since January. I spoke to several people at the branch and 800 number over the last two months, but Nick Balde, allegedly a manager, was the last person I spoke with the last time I went in to get this issue resolved. As soon as I identified myself, he said he was busy. He was supposed to call me yesterday. Since he didn’t, I called him. He was extremely curt from the beginning and said again that he was busy. I attempted to refresh his memory about the check dispute. He told me checks are like cash and there is no way the bank would be refunding my money. He made a few more disparaging remarks and then hung up on me. Nice. I just checked his business card. He’s not a manager; he’s a team leader. So he’s also a liar. I’ve been a customer of Regions since 1988. Considering the total lack of customer service displayed by Nick Balde, I’m taking my business elsewhere. I just hope the investigator assigned to my case can get my money returned.

I opened a line of credit with Regions bank. It was suppose to be a signature line of credit not based on real estate. That was untrue during the application process the pushy and rude banker asked for my house details and used my house as collateral. I had a zero balance on my loan but when my insurance lapsed the bank began charging me for property insurance instead of canceling or freezing my loan. This bank's actions were the slimmest. It felt like a scam, like robbery and I closed my account. Do not bank with these people. I find them untrustworthy.

10 days sitting on a deposit from a family member who also has an account at Regions. 10 days to clear a check inside the same bank. No one in management is allowed to speak with the bionic force of top secret security professionals who work in a place the manager calls "The Back Room". Shhhhh...top secret. Nobody is allowed to ask them to check into check delays because they work so exclusively that not even Regions bank management can speak to them. Hands tied. Keep the client's money. No mercy. Awful experience. Very disappointed.

I went to make a deposit for 2 bags and the teller refused to take the bags. This the regions bank on Lavista road. These young black folks are rude and lazy. This young nappy head boy spinning keys 🔑 in his hand. Telling me to put it it in night drop. Regions bank on Lavista road is bunch of Lazy black folks. So I went to the bank on Church St and the staff there are so pleasant they greet you as walk in and took my bags count my money with no issues.
