The quantity of medication may have changed due to a strength increase/decrease or the frequency you are taking the medication. Thank you for your honest feedback John. I'm sorry we made you feel like we didn't want to help you. When you request an evaluation for a condition we treat, our licensed prescribers will review the information you provide and give a prescription for the most appropriate medication. That is not always the medication that you prefer or in some cases, it may not even be appropriate to prescribe medications due to other medications or medical history. We're sorry to hear that your experience with RedBox Rx did not meet your expectations. Patient safety is very important to us. Our providers carefully evaluate each patient based on clinical guidelines and their medical judgment. Sometimes it is not appropriate to prescribe medications due to other medications or medical history. While our providers strive to offer the best possible care based on the information provided, there are times when an in-person evaluation may be the most appropriate course of action for patient safety and effective treatment. Their specific reasoning can be found in your visit notes within your account. Please reach out to our Patient Care Advocates either by phone at 844-733-2697 or by email at [email protected], so they can assist you with refunding your visit fee. Our refund policy states that payments for provider fees are refundable for completed visits when the provider does not prescribe treatment. Edit: We apologize again if it seemed like we did not want to help you. Our clinical team designed the assessment questions that you answer before paying for your visit, to alert the patient if certain questions are answered in a way that indicates we most likely will not be able to treat you safely through our services. When this alert comes up, we do notify the patient that it would be the best and safest option to seek in-person care. We do offer the option to continue on despite the alert but do notify you that "we know you came to us for medical advice and treatment and still want to help you by offering to connect you with a medical provider through a live video consultation for up to 15 minutes. Please note, there is a non-refundable fee of $69 for the consultation and prescription treatment is not guaranteed". While we would love to be able to help each and every patient that comes to us at RedBox Rx, there are cases where it is for your own health and safety that we would recommend you seek in-person care. We truly regret any misunderstanding that occurred and hope you find the care that you need. Thank you for your honest feedback Patrick. I'm sorry we made you feel like we didn't want to help you. We provide that notice before you pay and schedule your appointment because we certainly don't want to have patients pay for a service if we can't help. We also don't want to delay treatment by having you wait to complete a video consultation with our providers knowing it is unlikely they will prescribe treatment. You may continue past that notification and schedule a visit if you'd still like to meet with one of our providers. While our providers strive to offer the best possible care based on the information provided, there are times when an in-person evaluation may be the most appropriate course of action for patient safety and effective treatment.
