RealSelf has bee an excellent source of like individuals journey's. I think there are opportunities for how you search topics. Possibly operating much like Google. There have been times, I didn't know the medical terms to appropriately ask questions so the RealSelf search option wasn't giving me the results. I then used Google for my questions and Google navigated be to a RealSelf review with the similar topic. It would also be helpful if you could edit your review (for spelling and additional information you would like to make to the initial review).

Yes! RealSelf.com have good information Which I do appreciate but Wednesday past I send one doctor a enquirer about treatment price and the next thing I know the Website starts to send my enquirer to all the doctors without my permission. All these emails starts to roll-in none stop and phone calls as well. I send a email to RealSelf.com technical support regarding this issue and that I would like my account cancel. I have not received a reply as of yet but I’m still getting emails and phone calls.

I received lots of good input from great doctors. It really helped me make up my mind! Thanks for all of the information.

I appreciate Real Self for all the information it provides to aesthetic medicine consumers like myself. Real Self has informed many decisions about procedures- both those I have had and those I am considering. The ability to to ask questions of board certified practitioners is extremely helpful and the before and after images provide a complete picture that is not available anywhere else. Well done!

Use it to research any and every doctor before I have a cosmetic procedure. I found my rhinoplasty surgeon and my breast augmentation surgeon on RealSelf and have had great results! RealSelf is THE place to find your next doctor.

Navigation and user interface are clunky and difficult, but the site is super useful and has a good user base. One example of the user interface problem is the inability to edit reviews once posted, so you cannot cleanly correct typos, misinformation, etc. The whole review remains sloppy forever... An area for improvement would be to encourage user follow through and follow up on long term treatment reviews...for example, tattoo removal can take years, and I found only reviews for the first few treatments, people seem to stop posting after that. So, users are left without knowing if the end result is worth it.
