CDM offered the best rate among all the lenders I tried. The refinance process was smooth and we closed in the timeframe they gave me. They were flexible when I asked to change some of the terms later on. Overall, the whole process couldn't go better. 5 stars without a doubt.

Great team work, very responsive, this was a time sensitive transaction and the team pulled through so caring and thoughtfully on time!! The process was not quick. They said we had to have an appraisal, the house was less than 2 years old and we weren’t taking any money out. Our neighbors didn’t need one. It took months to get someone out to do the appraisal and we had to pay to extend the rate. The person who called to tell us was rude and basically said it wasn’t their fault and wouldn’t waive the fee. The customer service skills were lacking. Almost no communication from them at all. I had to reach out several times just to keep things moving. No responsibility was taken by anyone we dealt with. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I gave them a bad review with Costco as well so I hope that other members don’t have to deal with them either.

I am a Costco customer & used Consumer Direct Mortgage through them for a Re-fi. The loan agent told me my loan wouldn't be sold and I would still deal with them. I will say we changed the type of re-fi from a fixed rate to an adjustable and that may be why my loan got sold to Chase Bank. The folks I dealt with were nice and helpful, but they need to be aware when dealing with the West coast, that we're 2 hours behind them as more than once we got a very early morning call. There were a few blips at closing that could have been prevented if some of the final people who handled my loan package hadn't delayed items on their end. I got a great rate without closing costs. I just think better training for their folks would go a long way
