Have used Consumer Direct for 4 transactions so far and am working with them again in helping my son with his first home purchase. Such a streamlined process! Jerry Austen has been our go-to and we appreciate his prompt responses and help in getting us started in every transaction. Everyone that we've worked with has been excellent and of great help!

I have worked with First Bank on two other occasions getting mortgages. In every case they have been extremely easy to deal with and very prompt in their responses to inquiries. I would recommend them

Over the years we've done numerous home loans and refinancing. This is the first time the entire refinancing process was done online. It was great experience. The loan process from start to loan funding was smooth, no hassle, yet uncomplicated. CDM made the process online lending process easy to follow. Oh, best yet, the final signing of loan documents was executed by a real person at you home. I would do it again when the rate drops again. Thank you CDM.

The company handled my loan process with speed and provided a very reasonably priced loan through First Bank Mortgage. Everyone I worked with was professional and friendly.

Best and genuine services.

I found ConsumerDirectMortgage through CostCo. They were one of 5 recommended providers. Their response was prompt, their proposal was by far the best overall. My loan officer was Chris Finley and he was great. The process was nearly fully automated/web based. Approval was quick and the whole process took less that 30 days from quote to funding. I highly recommend ConsumerDirectMortgage.

Everything went fine with the mortgage, we had a misstep part way through the application process but you were very gracious in correcting everything and the end result was the mortgage refinancing as requested.

Rates and closing costs were very competitive for the refinance. For the first few weeks after starting the process, everything went well and communication was very good. 5 days before my first closing date my loan was totally reconfigured due to a lack of understanding about my state's laws. From that point, communication was extremely painful, slow and intermittent. Closing occurred more than a month after expected. The appraiser was terrible and didn't even get in the right ballpark for home value. They were still trying to sort out paperwork requirements and asking for additional filing, notary services, and other complications even the day before the very delayed final closing date (which was the 3rd or 4th date they scheduled with me before it was all done). At the closing, some paperwork was missing and we had to improvise and cross our fingers that handwritten paperwork would be accepted. Given a second chance, I would have used a different mortgage company entirely. This company is better suited to simple, straightforward loan processes that do not require a strong knowledge base. And for people who are not in a hurry to get this process over with and who are okay with being left in the dark for days or weeks on end.
