Real GeniusReviews of realgenius.com

This was by far the easiest mortgage process I’ve been through. I was kept informed every step in the process. The charges other providers wanted were ridiculous. But not with Real Genius. I highly recommended to my friends and family!

If I could give a zero I would. The most unprofessional company I have ever worked with. Spoke to mike about refinancing but told him details about our situation that would prevent us from getting approved through Freddie Mac. Due to lack of education, we couldn’t get approved and now had to run through Fannie Mae. In the mean time, the rate expired and they wanted us to pay the 1000$ rate lock. I had to argue which they finally agreed. They run us through again, and call me to tell me we’re approved sign by midnight tonight, no details. I login in there’s unexplained charges in the loan plus they wanted us to bring money to closing which we had discussed we weren’t going to do that. They worst company I ever worked with.

Personnel were very helpful and accommodating. However, our refi was sold twice in the first 6 months. It's irritating to have to create an online account and set up automatic payments for 3 different banks each time. Now the tax statements for each are rolling in. As I said, a real PIA.

On January. I picked real genius for my refinance house. Brain Gillespie takes care my Application. I want to tell Brain is a very very patience knowledge kindly gentleman. He guided me step-by-step (prefer collecting more information together at a time). I have a estimate until finished and offered all my information through months. And rate all the way up. So that I stopped for the application even approved. If you want to have an application for mortgage.go to Brain Gillespie he will really help you with. Thanks again Brain.

Honestly, I don't understand why it took so long to get a survey sent out. We closed back in June of 2021. Have closed on another loan since then. It's been so long since we worked with Consumer Direct, I can't recall the details. I do remember working with Kevin Marsh and he was super. We first met Kevin when we purchased our home and it was only natural to return to him for the refi. No major complaint that I can recall.

Our loan officer was precise in this description of the loan deal and process and everything that he described was true and accurate. There were a few minor hiccups in closing but the overall process was great. We are very happy with the refinance.

Excellent service! Everyone was very competent and professional. We had our refinancing completed within the timeframe and numbers just as promised.

I was treated with utmost respect, which as a single female is a #1 priority. Quick and clear responses to questions. Closing was lightning fast. The online app was secure and intuitive. Rates were unbeatable. Super impressed with Consumer Direct; hands down the best in the business. I feel lucky to have found them!!
