Hello Jean, We are very disappointed to see a 1-star review. We checked our records, and you have not contacted our company about any issue with the rope. We make our own rope, and it is definitely the correct diameter. We measure it twice with a special "rope caliper" as it comes off of the rope machines. We checked your order, and see that you purchased a "full spool". The rope will relax and expand once it is taken off of the spool. We take pride in our products, the quality of our ropes and the hundreds of excellent reviews received from our loyal customers. Regards, Customer Support
