Not worth it for those in recovery
I was a long term Quick MD client for recovery medicine. I'm fortunate to have long term sobriety and it is supported by MAD. I typically wait 5-15 minutes past my appointment time for my phone call which is understandable. This morning my dog got out and I missed my phone call by 2 minutes. There is no way to call back; I immediately contacted customer service who advised I would not only not receive a refund but I would have to pay full price for a new appointment. I'm fortunate that I've been sober long enough that it isn't an issue. Just an inconvenience. But I'm also well aware of how vulnerable people new to recovery are. Any company that is willing to take money from those in recovery but unable to provide them with customer service and understanding doesn't deserve my business. WorkIt takes insurance and provides the same service / I start with them next month.

Thank you for submitting the extra information we requested. We'd like to apologize about the service you received, thank you for speaking up and bringing awareness to your situation. We have been able to coordinate with the Support and Finance Teams, and process your refund in efforts to apologize. If you do need our assistance as well, we've added a credit for an appointment if needed. Terribly sorry about all of this, we will be reviewing our procedures about calls and wait times.
