Your instruction to let the water stop…
Your instruction to let the water stop boiling before placing the mouthpiece into it is ineffective. Because the mouthpiece floats, the top piece does not soften enough the allow it to be molded by the upper teeth. I was unable to get a fit that would stay in place and stop my snoring.

Our fitting process includes placing the PureSleep device in the boiling hot water for a relatively long time. The reason we did was to ensure that the entire device -- including the upward-facing side -- is brought to the same temperature as the surrounding water. We have tested this process many times ourselves and this is the first time we've seen this feedback. However we have noted that if one attempts to bring a bowl of water to a boil in a microwave oven and then removes the bowl to use for the fitting process, the temperature drops far more quickly than happens when a metal pot is used on a stovetop, so if this is what you did, we are aware that this is a problem and suggest that you try again with a pot on a stovetop if possible. Otherwise, you could put the bowl back into the microwave with the PureSleep device floating in the water and continue heating it -- but not too much because if there are too many bubbles, it might make the upper and lower components of the device separate after you assembled them in the proper setting for your bite type.
