While the end result was a handsome healthy puppy that we love the process of getting the puppy could be a little smoother. The response time on their app/online chat is very long. Also the cost they charge for their puppy’s is extremely inflated compared to others out there. But in the end we are very happy with our new little puppy. Update: it wasn’t just time in response to request for photos or videos it was any time I asked any question period on the app the response time was horrible. For a supposed online chat forum it was not good at all. Most of the time it was just simple questions that I was asking. Just being honest.

Kristina - Thanks for your honest feedback. It's important to us, not only because we take our role seriously and want you to have the best experience possible, but also because it gives us a chance to learn and improve. Our mission is to place healthy puppies into happy homes and to make finding a puppy a joyful and stress-free experience. We handle all the research and often time-consuming logistics for you so that you can focus on what truly matters: welcoming home your puppy. While there are certainly less expensive ways to find a furry family member, we work hard to be the best option. We understand how anxious you must have been for updates on your puppy. As soon as we received your requests for photos of your puppy, a member of our team immediately reached out to your puppy’s breeder each time and shared sets of adorable photos and videos of your puppy with you. Sometimes breeders are busy with their little ones and can take a moment to get back to us and we apologize if the turnaround was not as timely as you expected. That said, we are thrilled to know that your puppy is thriving in his new forever home. Congratulations on your beautiful pup again, please do not hesitate to reach out if there’s anything you ever need!

Puppyspot was very responsive and answered all my questions in a timely manner. And the followup is awesome. I loved going through all the pictures until I found the little one I fell in love with. I recommend this site to anyone considering a new puppy.

I suggest people read the Better Business reports against this company. There are too many people making similar complaints. There are way too many actual decent breeders out there that charge WAY less, deal directly with people, and are not puppy mills to bother with this company. The reply they gave was EXCEPTIONALLY deceptive... A+ rating ... go check it out they have a two star out of five average on BBB.

Charles - Thank you for taking the time to share your review. While there are certainly less expensive ways to find a furry family member our team is dedicated to being the best option. What we do involves a lot more than just coordinating travel arrangements and providing our industry-leading health guarantee. Knowing that each customer has a unique set of needs, we utilize a hands-on, personalized approach to provide guidance throughout the entire placement process. Our team’s support includes: managing breeder conversations, handling all research and vetting, confirming completion of nose-to-tail veterinary examinations before and after your puppy leaves his or her breeder’s care and travel home to their new home. We appreciate your feedback and due diligence in doing research before finding a new furry family member, as it is something we always encourage. We can’t speak for the unverified reviews out there, but we do stand behind our 6000+ Five star reviews collected by a trusted third party partner who collects feedback from real PuppySpot customers and publish every review we receive: good, bad or otherwise. We welcome you to view every review here: www.puppyspot.com/reviews. We work hard to be a trusted and transparent way of finding a furry family member, which is why we are also proud to be accredited by the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating.

I have sent an email and awaiting a response from Puppy Spot. I want to warn those out there looking at the previous pics posted on the website of their new family member things aren’t as they seem. I don’t blame puppy spot, I blame the crooked breeders that are lying and have vets lying for them to puppy spot. I ordered a maltipoo in July 2018. Puppy was born June 4. Was told I would get puppy at 8 weeks as long as she was 2.5 lbs. I had to wait 12 weeks and when she arrived on a plane from Missouri she was not even 2 lbs. teeny tiny we fell in love. We took her to the vet and they told me she didn’t look like a maltipoo. Here we are over a year later and the vet said she has no poodle and no Maltese in her. She said she looks to have cocker spaniel and papillon. What a totally different type of dog. We would trade our little girl for anything but something must be done with these crooked puppy breeders. I think I should be reimbursed for some of the money I paid and the breeder should be fined by puppy spot.

Ashley - We are truly surprised to learn you feel that your puppy is not a Maltipoo. We take pride in the honest and trusted approach we use to help puppy parents meet their new furry best friend. We are confident that your puppy is indeed a Maltipoo as listed however, we never want a puppy parent to feel deceived. A member of our team will be in touch with you shortly to address your concerns and see how we can help. It is important to us that you too, are confident that you received the exact puppy you requested. We were also surprised to hear that your puppy arrived underweight. Your puppy, like all PuppySpot puppies, underwent a mandated nose-to-tail exam performed by a licensed veterinarian before her travel home which not only indicated she was 100% healthy at the time but also the required weight for travel which is no less than 2lbs. Our service extends well beyond the delivery of your new pup and we're committed to being here for you until your concerns have been resolved.

Our experience was great. After organising a pup to arrive we read all these awful reviews about puppy farming or whatever and people saying for no reason that they were frauds. I actually believe that a lot of these are fake and from people who just don't like the concept. Our experience was really great. The Labradoodle was the cutest. After we got their vet details we could look up the breeder and they are an adorable family highly rated in their community. I would say that if a flight is involved think hard about the airport. La Guardia (I'm British) is not something that I would recommend on an eve flight on a Friday :-), perhaps Americans would have known that. If you can find a local breeder (not a horrible semi-city one like a lot in New York) then great. If you can't and are willing to pay extra for a pup that's really well raised in the American countryside than this is a great service. And btw, the flight isn't that big a deal to a new pup. They will be a little stressed anyway from the rehoming and like a 4hr car journey with strangers- and they will forget about it. I would recommend this service. I would also recommend people who rave about "rescue dogs" to check what they are getting. These dogs are often flown in from random places, and "rescued" from an operation. Speak to your vet / check with the local animal authority before using these, they are a racket the world over. Puppyspot is a large company that I think will raise breeding standards and help our furry friends find home.
