If i could put negative stars i would. per the breeder to drive out of their way to meet us in which they r only willing to go within 50 miles of their location per puppyspots deal, apparently. Again, very upset, frustrated and beyond mad, puppyspot would NOT give back the full travel fees and we were told per a supervisor that even the $99 down payment would be refunded in which still has yet to be put back onto my card and its now another 3 weeks later. Ended up reluctantly taking the $499 back, still waiting on the $99, and rented a van to drive down and get the puppy. Spoke to the breeder and much to our surprise, they had begun to think we didnt want him and per what puppyspot was informing them of with how WE kept changing dates (NOT TRUE) and waiting on us for travel approvals. Again NOT TRUE. I was grateful in getting the breeders info once we got a date that worked out for the breeder and us after the multiple weeks of being told different stuff from puppyspot. They, just as us, upon finally connecting with them, were both told very different stories to have made us all wondering about the future of said puppy. They themselves were very disappointed, mad, frustrated and asking how and why as we were. Eventually we finally got our new addition andbwe do love him and we're gratful for finally having been able to connect with the breeder directly instead of puppyspot. For the amount of money puppyspot asks for, this is NOT worth it! They refuse to reimburse any further money for all of this terrible experience, havent even refunded the $99 back as its been 4 weeks since that statement from a supervisor specifically or willing to drop the amount of the purchase of the pup as a good will intent to right such a horribly wrong deception and mislead of multiple misinformation per every puppyspot individual we spoke to and emailed on so many various occasions. Our puppy is great, loving, and a blessing to have now, finally, and we're in contactvwith the breeder giving them updates on him. However going thru this specific company is outrageously awful and i suggest if u want a purebred pup of whatever breed, google and look up those directly to purchase and add the new additon to ur family directly from a breeder. I will not suggest this company to anyone nor ever go thru them again. Do ur research and go with another for ur new additon. Thank u to the breeder but to this company, ur awful. Hope u enjoy this feedback.

Puppy spot was extremely helpful to us in our new puppy search from all our pre commitment questions to our final decision on our sweet little puppy. They answered all of our questions right away and if I placed a call and they didn’t know a manager immediately called back and when it was time for our arrival of our sweet little puppy she hey were very thorough in every detail food, likes, vaccinations,meeting time/ location drivers cell, chip information and paperwork. Pictures throughout the whole process and videos!! I highly recommend PuppySpot I did not know them at all prior to my search engine and in future would recommend to others they were wonderful TY PuppySpot team for our sweet puppy

PROS: I received my six month GSD from Puppy Spot, and I absolutely love her. The customer service was great. I called to make the purchase and the sales associate and I had great conversations about her dogs and her general experience with them. Before making the online purchase, the woman asked me questions to make sure I understood things about the dog breed I was getting and the environment of my home to make sure it is a good fit for the dog. I understood everything I was charged for and made sure of it. Every question was answered politely and friendly even if it was repeated. I also received updated emails and calls about the flight information and what to do. My emails concerning the dog or any other questions I had were answered within a day or two. My dog came in decent condition and was microchipped. She took a while to warm up but her temperament and physical condition did not look like she came from a puppy mill. Her behavior after letting her out of her crate SLOWLY AND ON HER OWN was good. We built trust quickly. She was shy but not aggressive. She was also good with socialization with other dogs and smaller animals on her first walk and at home - she does not pay mind to them (her being introduced to socialization at an early age was mentioned in her description on the Puppy Spot website). She was able to warm up to her new home and she became really happy and started playing with her toys on the first day which is also an indication she was not from a puppy mill. Her vaccinations were up to date and we received her medal for her rabies shots. The papers for her conditions during the mandatory vet check-up prior to travel are accurate. It's important to know a dog may not be feeling well due to stress and environmental and diet changes (I got her vet checked and she has allergies and diarrhea because of environmental and diet changes). I read ALL the FAQs both on the website and on the app to make sure I understood Puppy Spot more, considering I was eventually extremely nervous purchasing my puppy from there after seeing awful negative reviews. It said that it's possible to request pictures of the parents, so I did just that. I received them within 2-3 days. (I did this to ensure that my new pup was in good condition, as well). CONS: The app was not of much use besides general updates and information about the pup and the flight. There is no direct contact with the breeder or any information about them, which made me uneasy. I asked for updated pictures of my pup twice and I did not receive them. The first response was that pictures on the website are updated 2-3 weeks; the second time I asked, it was too late since her travel date was in two days or so. I believe every buyer should always receive pics when requested. I looked up good reviews and bad to educate myself and to make me feel more secure, and I wish that Puppy Spot could allow buyers to feel secure throughout the WHOLE process of receiving. It feels more of like a blind buy because some people unfortunately receive their puppy in awful conditions according to other reviews. Some people did not receive their puppy the way I did. It depends on the breeder the puppy comes from. I feel like I was just lucky to receive her the way I did. Something to understand, too, is that calling back to hear about information about my puppy's flight needed a lot of patience since they're super busy and receive tons of calls per day. I was patient enough to wait on hold for a WHILE. But, the info discussed was sent through an email and is also on the app. It's good to know they make sure you know and reach out to you in several ways. Overall, I really love my puppy so much. She's a great girl and she's adjusting fine in our home and our environment. She's beautiful and gets compliments everywhere and is well-behaved (because I'm training her to and again which is a sign she hasn't experienced any abuse for her to be aggressive). I'm grateful to receive my puppy and the service I had. Puppy Spot gets 4 stars only because I just wish I felt more secure after the online purchase, and not just for me - everyone.

Honestly, I am pleasantly surprised with my experience as I was very wary of purchasing a pup, sight unseen, from a breeder I would never meet. After falling in love with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and doing my homework about how PS works I felt comfortable enough to get more information. Reynaldo discussed everything in great detail, making sure both I and my sister were aware if policies, operations, and obligations. I decided to move forward with my pup. I received updates via the PS app as well as messages from Reynaldo, who also answered any questions that popped up in a timely manner. There was one delay, but I was given a heads up so it was a non-issue. Gustav (née Jonas) was flown in last November and escorted to me by a very sweet woman who had experience with animal transport and let me know when he had been fed/watered/pottied. It was absolute love from the moment I saw him and it's been growing more everyday. Gustav is very healthy and happy, training to be a psychiatric service dog. He is friendly, smart, playful, and very in-tune with my needs which is vital for service work. He loves people and animals, seeks to please his humans and older dog sister, and has charmed vets/groomers/trainers better than even a fairytale prince could. My experience with PS was absolutely positive but, as with any important purchase, be sure to do your research and ask a lot of questions.

I purchased a puppy from PuppySpot on July 19th, 2022. I had called a few times to get some information on different puppies and every time I called, an agent picked up and answered my questions. Then after I purchased my puppy, I had some travel related questions, and I could not get through to PuppySpot at all. I have called and left messages, I have called and waiting on hold (one time for an hour and 34 minutes and no one ever answered), I have used their App to try to connect to a Puppy Manager and every time I get a response that no Puppy Manager is available. I have tried for three weeks to get through to them with no luck. I did reach a rep one time in the three weeks and they promised to call me back to answer my questions but I was never called back. Not only that, I got a message on my PuppySpot app telling me my puppy was going to be delivered on August 7th…..I got that message on August 7th!!! No warning…no call….no email….no communication. I indicated on the app that I would accept the puppy that day and then never heard a word! I am so frustrated. I have been so excited to get this puppy but I am ready to just cancel and ask for a refund. The customer service is the most inept I have ever dealt with.
