Is this a scam?
This is actually the first negative review I have ever left, but I feel obligated to after my experience. To kick off the frustration, they sold the first dog I paid for out from under my nose. They said it was an issue with the system. I said understandable and selected a second dog of the same breed. I have yet to receive the dog I paid for or really any communication about him since that first call. The initial delivery they had scheduled they had the puppy going to the wrong city. The second delivery they had scheduled, I was informed by the chaperone (on my way to pick him up) that PuppySpot had cancelled the delivery the night before and declined to communicate this with me. I have had no communication since the initial phone call I had with my “Puppy Manager” after I paid for the dog, despite calling them numerous time, leaving 4 voicemails and sending 4 emails. I would think this was a scam at this point, except for all the reviews I’ve seen about puppies being delivered. I have to chalk this up to negligence, incompetence or perhaps both. If PuppySpot reads these, please just return my calls so we can get this straightened out and my dog delivered. Communication and transparency are key when it comes to customer service - do better.

We hope that once your puppy arrived Sept 6th, that you have begun a wonderful life together. We do apologize for the communication struggles you faced as his travel was changed a number of times, due to travel industry issues. We do wish we'd been able to communicate that to you faster and alleviate your concerns.
