Outstanding service, and great communication. I have never acquired a pet through a service like this, we normally go to the Humane Society but we wanted a very specific breed this time. Every single person we interacted with, including the people who transported our puppy, were extremely nice and clearly love animals! I was very happy and will absolutely use this service again.

Everything was HORRIBLE
Everything was HORRIBLE! I paid to have my puppy shipped to me and paid the extra fee associated with that. It was delayed 4 TIMES! The breeder even forgot to bring the puppy to the airport! For as much or as little you pay I for one will NEVER recommend them to anyone or use them again. Horrible customer service as well. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use them!!!!!!!

Our puppy’s awesome! But communication was lacking!
We love our puppy he is fantastic and healthy! However before getting him it was very hard to get a hold of anyone. The chat feature on the app never worked. It would say email us but some emails were never responded to. The info about our puppy on the app was never updated unless I called, waited on hold for like 45 minutes for someone to answer and requested it. It’s like you pay all this money up front and then don’t hear back or get any info for weeks. It’s kind of stressful. Then we had very little say or options in regards to travel and pick up. Our puppy was driven to an area, 2.5 hours drive from us, the delivery guys were great. The puppies (lots of families picked up at the same time) were clean and happy.

Positive Experience - Details From Purchase to Arrival
Overall, this was a great experience. I know how agonizing buying a puppy can be so I’ll share some details of my experience. I bought the puppy on January 3 and received puppy on January 18 by plane. Pros: PuppySpot has an app with centralized info about your puppy (weight, photos, food brand, info on parents such as breed, color, weight) status on where you are in the process, articles on caring for puppy, discounts through PuppySpot partners, a chat feature to reach a PuppyManager. Ours was initially Candice who was great and then this changed to Parisa who was also great. Parisa was excellent at following up when she said she would and patiently answered all my questions. Cons: Once you buy the puppy, you then have to wait for the breeder to get the vet health check done and for them to communicate this back to PuppySpot. The vet check has to be done within 10 days of travel. So once that vet check was done, I knew it was likely we were going to receive the puppy within 10 days. Once the vet check is done, as long as puppy is a minimum of 8 weeks old, and is of sufficient weight, then PuppySpot can begin making travel arrangements to deliver the puppy. PuppySpot app notified me that the vet check was done (7 days after we bought puppy, no word on this and I followed up on chat. Update came later that day or next day). This is where another agonizing waiting period begins. You wait to to find out about travel arrangements which could be air or ground, whichever is the best and safest way to get the puppy to you.
They offered 3 packages: 1) $299 and you go pick up the puppy. 2) $699 and puppy is driven or flown to you. This is not door to door. You either pick up at airport or you drive to a location to meet the puppy transport van. If you live in a major city, you won’t have to drive far. If you are rural, you might have to drive a bit to pick up your puppy. 3) was something like $1599 to have someone personally chaperone and fly your puppy in the main cabin. We went with the $699 route and once purchased, we eventually saw the app update from showing her photo and “…is coming home” to “…is traveling”, which was exciting!
Word of caution: if you buy a puppy in winter or summer, know that airlines will not fly your puppy below 45 degrees or above 85. You need an acclimation letter from a vet in order for puppy to fly below 45 degrees. And the letter has to specify how cold the puppy can travel. The airlines won’t allow it below 20 degrees. Our puppy was allowed by breeder vet to travel down to 20 degrees but we didn’t know this part. While waiting for puppy to travel, I asked if puppy had an acclimation letter and was advised yes but we didn’t know the specific temp. This means we worried ourselves sick over whether puppy would be able to travel home to us on the big day. I obsessively checked the weather. Our family was guessing and endlessly speculating what would happen on her day of travel. We finally started making alternate plans to go pick her up, which would have been a 13 + hour journey…one way. It would have been more than 24 hours round trip. So I think this is the only area that we had feedback on. Everything else was smooth and great! We got lots and lots of support from Parisa along with helpful articles on what to do next to prepare for puppy’s arrival. I received these through the app and via email. Almost every single day, we had a communication from PuppySpot. This was very important to us.
She arrived with a big travel crate (as part of our package) even though she was so tiny. So she had plenty of room to sprawl out in the crate. They lined the bottom of crate with shredded newspaper which is fluffy and comfy. It’s also great for puppy to relieve itself and move the soiled parts away. There is also a tiny food and water reservoir on the inside of the door. The dog couldn’t have been more comfortable for air travel! Puppy flew American Airlines Cargo in a temperature controlled, pressurized area of the plane, separate area from luggage. I signed up for alerts directly from the airline and the whole experience was outstanding. Puppy arrived healthy and happy!
We would likely buy another puppy from PuppySpot. It took us 15 days to receive our puppy from date of purchase to the day she arrived. I do recommend them as it was a very positive experience! Thank you PuppySpot!

DO NOT BUY FROM PUPPYSPOT
My puppy is 5 months old, came with ZERO vaccines, infested with giardia and kennel cough. This service is supposed to be “no puppy mill” but cannot guarantee the conditions the dogs are in. It is SHAMEFUL to pay 3k for a dog and have to pay more in vet bills. Ultimately, the neglect of the care of my dog is truly sad and I will NEVER buy another dog from puppyspot

Working with PuppySpot was a very easy
Working with PuppySpot was a very easy, pleasant experience. The person I worked with (Allen) was very helpful. He returned all my calls and answered all my questions. I love the PuppySpit emails with all their useful information on training, what to expect, etc.
