I purchased a French Bulldog puppy on PuppySpot. I made arrangements to drive 5 hours to go pick up my puppy. I asked for a recent picture and for one of the back of the dog since the pictures posted only showed the front of the puppy. I was told the breeder could not take pictures which brought up a red flag??? If my puppy was living with the breeder why could they not take a picture and send it? I eventually found out that the breeder kept the puppies at a kennel away from her home after they turned 6 weeks old. The breeder has several dogs she breeds over and over. A puppy mill!!! Yet they argued and acted as if I was crazy for feeling that and no longer wanting to pay top dollar for this puppy. PuppySpot was very rude with me when I expressed my concerns. They told me no this was typical of how breeders breed dogs and that separating the puppies from their mothers at 6 weeks was very normal and I didn’t know what I was talking about.when I said I no longer wanted the puppy it took 1 day for them to get back to me to decide what their team was going to “allow” me to do. I was first told I would have to find another dog then and pay any difference. I was concerned and wanted to make sure the next puppy was not from a puppy mill too now, I had lost my trust in them. didn’t want a puppy that was separated too soon and had attachment issues and so would be an aggressive dog since I have small children. Shortly after I received a call from a manager who was very unprofessional in how she spoke to me, very irritated at me, and her tone was very harsh. She told me they were going to cancel my contract and refund my money. She then hung up. I called back because I had questions to clarify but they had blocked me and my calls just rang and went straight to voicemail. I found out they placed me on a “do not sell to” list…. Why because I found out they were working with a puppy mill? I would of thought they would of been concerned, apologized, assured me that like their policy says they do not support puppy mills and that they were looking into the matter and then help me to find a puppy from a good breeder… but instead I was the bad person for pointing it out and they blocked me to keep me away??? Wow!!! This just says they are full aware they deal with puppy mills and just want to hush it up… so be aware and very careful! I’m glad I found out before I brought the puppy home.

Our puppy came with a recent mark bites and he has a severe diarrhea and keep itching his ear . I took him to vet and cost me around $400 to fix all this issues . I called puppy spot and first they act like they care and asked me to sent all the bills from vet and reports from vets . I sent all the paperworks . I called them after a week and they told me that case is under investigation. I never hear from them after that and they turned complete ghost . DO NOT TRUST for anything they promise before you make the purchase . We love our Puppy and He is not sick anymore thanks to our vet team . Do not trust their vet check!!!
